Just want to put things into perspective.most if not all come on here with various views on different things topic which can somtimes lead to a bit of uneasiness between posters, looking at this is it really necessary we all have and should have our own opinions on things and thats how it should be not be put down etc at the end of the day we all want the same thing a winning wakefield trinity and if where not winning is really the be all and end all...no it isnt..i say this as one of my sons mates a17 year a lad he has played many of rugby match with a lad who stayed at hours after a match many a time decieded to take his own life the other day which really does put things into light.

R.I.P call lad youll fit in with the greats up in heaven....

An awful story Luppylad.
Its a growing problem and dealing with modern day life seems difficult for a increasing number of our youngster's.
I can't imagine how his family must feel and managing to cope at this terrible time.

First of all RIP Luppys sons mate.

It seems to be getting far more common these days with young males. Odd because life seems easier now than when I was young, but what do I know. I just don’t recall suicides being as common as they seem to be now.

This maybe due to the social media revolution Vastman. Maybe it’s always been prevalent but there’s more platforms to communicate it these days.

I just about remember when you wanted to read news you bought the paper in a morning.

Not sure why he did not sure his family do i do know he was very good freinds with the poor sole who lost his life with his dad a couple of weeks back and he was struggeling with that...

Terrible news. There are hard times in any generation, but obviously this is the biggest killer of under 40’s in the UK. Life isn’t easy at times and when you feel you have no way to go on and resort to this it’s beyond sad. Thankfully there’s a lot more support and awareness around mental health, which in the past wasn’t there as there was more of a stigma around it.

Can't think of anything more distressing.
