If tonight's game were live at BV I don't think wild horses could stop me going, I just can't wait for live matches to return. This despite how poor we are, how sure I am we will lose, how much effort and cost is involved etc etc.

Yet we can't go but it is on TV, yet despite the ease of watching it I just can't be bothered. Maybe that's how the players feel?

It's not a live v armchair thing as I generally enjoy both, it's just....I don't know really, but I think I'll take the dogs a walk.

I'm afraid I won't watch it live. I'll record and watch it later but only if they win or comments on here suggest they at least tried.

I hate to see us getting beaten and it's happening too often these days but I would never not watch it if it's on TV. I live in hope that we'll produce that performance we all crave and I don't want to miss it if we do. Please please please can we have a win?

I'll watch it but with a feeling of apprehension /dread and less enthusiasm than I usually have. I could get excited if it develops into a real competitive match although we have been in contention for about 50 minutes so you never know. Maybe I'm protecting myself from too much disappointment.

Will watch on TV live and switch of when game as gone after I have deleted recording .(never watch match live on TV with sound on) .At least you do not have to travel 70 miles back home and get home for 11ish pm ,Which was still better than coming back from St or Wigan on a Friday night with road work on M 62 and M 60 and getting back at midnight .Any one no if there done yet

Regardless of how they are playing, being at the ground is a totally different experience, especially on an evening like tonight. Watching on TV is a little soulless.

I'll be sometimes frustrated and disappointed but I still want to support them.

Even at 50 nil, I'll enjoy it if someone manages to just pull a nice move a score a late try.

Well for me win or lose I will watch it back several times as I do with all games in the hope there’s a miracle win ,unfortunately I’m on nights tonight so have no choice , il watch Sunday once night shifts are over , at least I can watch the return of west gate on Saturday afternoon 2 pm in the park

Well I explained I'd be disappointed with a loss so not sure what your problem is, however I can enjoy seeing one of the players I support doing something good.

Despite being sure that we'll get beaten, I'm hoping (desperately) to see some improvements and something that we can take into our next game.
It wont be too long before (some) spectators are allowed back into BV and I can't wait.

Let's face it, with the lean pickings we've had over the 35 years I've been watching, what we have here is nothing new.
We try and pretend that it is but, apart from the odd qualification for the play offs and a Challenge Cup semi final, we've had very little real success.
In some kind of way, it's the peverse sense of hope that keeps us all going, it's certainly not the regular visits to Wembley or Old Trafford.

I start to watch it live but I have to turn it off if we start to lose badly. Then I follow the score on twitter its easier that way for me

However if the score is anything to go by there was some improvement?

I for one could not fault their endeavour or attitude it was excellent for 80 minutes. A real intensity in defence and we had enough possession and territory to have won quite comfortably really, just and ragged again in their 20.

You better be right as I’ll watch it on Trin TV, I don’t normally watch defeats. Just shows how low we have gone when I kind of view this as a victory!

Plenty of effort, can’t fault them for that. But there is still no creative ideas in their half. In fact i actually found last night the most frustrating game of all because given all the ball and territory we had and given Hull were down on energy we really should have won it with something to spare.

I can’t fault the effort in any game we’ve played this season and I know some think we have capitulated after 40 minutes but it was there in black and white last night. We managed to get plenty of field position again but we simply can’t build any pressure because we can’t score any points. Our attack as been the same for a few years and it’s not just now, if you watch our halves they are glued to one side of the field and they never move. If it’s not working change it, get some plays on, get the halves to switch play and try different things to put doubt in our opponents line and break up the defence. It’s all so predictable it’s run to that blade of grass to get to that blade of grass, get some forwards on drop off running at pace. If it can be seen, it can be solved, we make an easy game look complicated.

I agree with most of that and it's only 2018/early 2019 that we were so much more of an attacking threat. Baffling.

I think it's more speed of pass but it must be part of the shape he's trying to create as well.
Once it's past the first man it's easy to defend because a) we don't have any dummy runners and b) it got there so slowly that the defense have chance to stand 3 players in front of the runner.
We got success last night with an off load game because when they did stack three defenders on us, it made a big gap when the ball was released.
Still needs players making themselves available though.
