With all the unavailability of players I’ve been suprised we haven’t heard anything on Greensmith.

In fact he is the only player out of the full squad that I don’t think has been in any 21 man squad or mentioned.

Is he even still with Wakefield trinity. Seems like the forgotten man.

Possibly furloughed?

Alot of academy players furloughed not sure bout greensmith though

Greensmith much like Croft and Bailey signed for the first team so be hard to believe he’s the only member of 1st team on furlough. Seems strange

So are harry bowes and dane windrow but there also academy based

He was furloughed until end of September he’s back in training now following a negative C-19 test allowing him to join the player bubble, hoping to see his name on the team sheet at some point in the near future

Well that’s good news he’s available.

With only 14 fit players and 17 available he will guaranteed be one of them then playing tonight. I’d imagine Aydin, gwaze, Bailey, Croft will all be in too as they weren’t on the plane to Catalan.

Will be tough stage for them but I hope they do themselves proud and just try their best.

Unfortunately not, the new rules naming a 21 man squad prior to the game doesn’t allow you to add another player prior to KO

But of the 21 names we have had to isolate most of them as the track and trace identified players on the plane who played Catalans? We can’t go into a gams with 10 players or so can we?

Either way I’m expecting no result from tonight’s match. Hopefully they just give it a good go.

That was taken in to account before chezzy named 20 (not 21 players) from that list only 14 were fully fit and the rest did Rock Paper Scissors to make the numbers up) Oliver’s test result wasn’t confirmed until Wednesday as it firstly came back as “not conclusive” and team had to be named so too late to get in

That rule was abandoned at the restart. There’s no reason why he couldn’t be brought in if needed, just need to ask for dispensation which would almost definitely be given. Hence why Carter was talking about borrowing some Saints players yesterday.

Well regardless I think we all want our young players to succeed and I’m sure they will be cheered on. That will include Greensmith when the chance comes.

Definately. Maybe playing a full strength Saints with half a team missing isn't the best game to make his debut anyway!

Would you prefer him to make his debut this season or next, when hopefully you can watch him 'in the flesh'. Either way I'm sure you will be as proud as punch.
