No he wasn't OK for this game he was part of players stood down last week because of covid and track and trace so they all had to stand down for 14 days I think from chesters interview yesterday that they all will be back for saints game next Friday

The time he as been out proves that a very good forward is not as important as a very good scrum half and hooker

I don’t understand the logic because how many games have we won when Fifita didn’t play.

His tracker has been located in the Catalan dressing room

Even Lockyer and Johns needed a decent pack to operate behind.
Fifita, like him or not, is our most effective prop when hes on the field.

Having said that, with the amount of games he's missed over the lase couple of seasons, for various reasons, a 3/4 decent prop who can make it 8 or 9 times out of 10 would likely be a better option, although, plating on the "front line", every player will pick up some injuries.

Just making the point Fifita coming back will not make as much difference to this team as a very good scrum half ,who could move the team round the park For the record I like Fifita a lot .Hope he stays but if not all the best to him .Brought me a lot of happy memories

Put’s paid to the theory that a club with a low salary cap can’t reach major finals, thats both the Grand Final and Challenge Cup Final in 12 months for Salford and they have the lowest cap spend in the league. They are fantastically coached and conditioned. Well done Salford.
