| How much longer as season ticket holders do we have to put up with such dismal effort from our players??and coaching staff. As a supporter of Trinity for over 50 years I cannot recollect such an abysmal defeat. Please Mr Carter it's all very well being big mates with C.C but the majority of supporters that I have spoken with have no confidence in the present coaching staff. Take the bull by the horns and bring in a new regime before season ticket holders decide not to renew their membership, myself included. The display by our players is embarrassing so PLEASE DO SOMETHING MR CARTER.

50 years and you "cannot recollect" our home defeat to 2nd division Whitehaven in the cup?

I get the feeling that a sudden rush of new posters making grandiose and very long first posts is a touch suspicious. I know your all peace tho all men but it’s just a little odd that in years previous and especially through lockdown where free time has been in abundance these ‘new’ posters never felt the need to post. Yet one modest though embarrassing defeat see’s some drawn to penning war and peace.
Also as many have noted Saturday was miles off being our worst ever performance, even in very recent times. Yet the theme on all of the ‘new’ post pushes the ridiculous theory that it is.
Don’t shoot the messenger, just saying.

People need to realise that this season is a write off in all sense of the word bar 4 or 5 clubs who have a chance, the rest are all bit players. Plus with all this BLM shizzle from last week and the fact there are currently 9 SL payers testing positive for C-19 then things really need to be put in to perspective.
Just watch the season out, none of us are any worse of than we were yesterday morning, there's more important things going on in the world and on our doorstep

The Seniors, Jake Wardle, Hewitt, Sam Wood Matty English, Oliver Wilson etc and for example their ability to keep competing with a Warrington side who on paper were a better side and should have ‘stuffed us.’ especially with the injuries that we had. No ‘subs’ for the last 20 minutes.
We beat Saints away without Gaskell (injured after 4 minutes) and in four matches this season are 2/2 in games decided by two points or less.
Sezer and Gaskell are both good players but despite the publicity about Sezer we have improved more as a team in defence than just Sezer primarily due to improved ‘attitude.’ The ‘kids’ don’t know when to give up.
We benefitted from the injury crisis we had in the last two years as we were forced to blood 19/20 year olds and get some hard lessons from the better teams.
However that is now paying off with the form of the boys mentioned above ‘short term pain, long term gain’ you could do far worse if you have to do the same.
Yes you will have to watch blowouts like yesterday for example we got beat 0-44 at home by Leeds a true shocker, but the hard bit of blooding youngsters is they can’t always back up on performance week on week and us fans have to be patient during the bad games.
Think this is a very balanced view.....
I see what you're saying Vasty, but maybe that performance broke the camels back for fans who have not posted many times or not posted previously.

I thought the same.
I checked.
Some seem to be just posters that like to only post when we have a heavy defeat.
Some just like a moan
Some obviously react to a post and feel the need when they didn't before.
Can't explain it.

Not condoning Saturday’s ‘efforts’ but let’s see if we get a reaction this week before calling for drastic action. There does seem to be a decline in performances over the last year despite what appears to be good signings. I’m in the CC doesn’t know his best team camp & probably isn’t as a good a coach he appeared to be when he first arrived, when he took charge of a very well prepared Brian Smith side that benefitted by being allowed to play the game without his intense methods.
For the record I thought the 80 nil against Warrington was as low as it gets & the 86 nil caning against Cas during the merger debacle where I nearly walked away.

Whilst I think the 2010/11 and 2015 seasons had some just as embarrassing results, I don’t think I’ve ever seen us attack with as little structure or effort.

Agreed. We looked more threatening with ball in hand when our pivots were Tommy Lee, Jeremy Smith and Josh Vievers than what we have done in the past 18 months or so.

| 0-52 at home to hudds in 2010 is one for me. Mainly as we had started the season pretty well and I’d managed to talk a couple of mates down to watch for the first time. They didn’t come back I’m afraid!

| I can stand a defeat, being a Wakefield supporter it is a supporting hazard that comes with the choice. What I don’t like is a team which appears to lack any coaching. I know the Webster era produced many similar performances but in his defence the squad he had does not compare with the current team.
I don’t expect a win on Saturday but if we continue to produce the dribble we have seen all to often once again then you would hope Chester would do the honourable thing but in view of his 20% win rate over the last 25 games I doubt it. I expect the injury excuse will come out once again and will be accepted. I guess if it does not change then the club will have to decide between loyalty to the coach against the loss of income that naturally follows the recent displays.
What should also matter to Chester is that the club has pushed their desire for success in the cup this year and you would hope that he pulls out all the coaching stops to ensure the team does at least show some desire.

| Im almost certain that the HKR chairman said that when he walked in to the chainging room at Wembley he knew they were up for a pasting. The team seemed happy enough just to have reached the final.
I find the whole atmosphere at Wakey very relaxed and wonder just how much coaching actually takes place. its great to let the players go out and express themselves when they win but ends up disastrous when they loose.
We do have a number of off the cuff players.

I think this is our big problem. We have relied on individual brilliance from the likes of Tupou, Tom J, Fifita and Hampshire. When they are off form or injured we have no plan B.

Well God help Hull KR as coach Tony Smith never looks at the interviewer. His eyes swivel round and up and down like David Blunket's
