I guess Wane has a better idea of who’s a better fit for the job.

From what I’ve seen of widdop so far I think he needs time to pan in At the wires ,sure he’ll come good but may take a while.

Glad those two are still involved in the squad. TJ may well get a berth of the wing this autumn if he can stay fit. Reece will always be reliant on others dropping out to get in at centre though.

Johnstone & Manfredi would be great combination.

And don't forget Liam Marshall is currently scoring tries for fun on the left wing for Wane's old club, so Tom has some serious competition to secure a spot.

What does Ashurst need to do to get a look in? Not even in the Knights squad - I know thats more for the younger players but he would be a good leader for them.

Even if Marshall scored 10x as many tries as TJ I wouldn't rate him higher. For all the stick TJ gets for his defence Marshall is worse and makes more errors.
