They have a decent squad but lacking inu, chamberlin, brown, McCarthy, Lannon and of course walker had a parting of the ways

So lets hope we get a result in the wind and wet

Can't really see beyond Walker in at FB and Max into Hampshire's slot.

I'd be happy with that and it's great that young Bailey will get to see what being part of the squad is all about. But, you never know.
Think he will go with Atkins and Johnston on the left with Lyne and Tupou on the right but, the pack could be a whole number of combinations, perm any 6 from 10 ?

Never seen Bailey play so I d agree with you but chester does seem to have treated max as a scapegoat in the past so who knows. After last week lets hope we see a few changes personally would bring king and green in for navarette and batchelor,

That's a decent pack (and bench), it's all about the halves this week.
Mind you, if it stays so wet, a simple forwards game and looking after the ball might just get us over the line.

These are games that we need to be winning if we want to be making any kind of impact on the table, the alternative being a struggle and hoping not to get embroiled in the contest for the wooden spoon.

Can't see owt wrong with that selection.

Even though the attack is very predictable I want to see the same level of intensity from the first half v Cas.

We have Mossop, Sarginson, and Josh Johnson back for this week. All big misses from last week.

We've stuttered a bit so far this season and haven't gelled yet as a new team. Conditions could be a real leveler. Could go either way I suppose but hoping that home advantage gives us the edge. As long as it's a decent game I'll be happy.

When did Max last play HB? It almost feels like he sets up the lad up to fail.

Some smart experienced players in that Salford side, non of which cause me more concern than the big fella.
We all know he has the tools, what price can you get on him monstering the game...lol

You'd like to think we should get something out of this game but if we Jekyll and hide it and somebody for Salford steps up to the plate with a big game it, it'll be proper tight.

Till we get settled in to a rhythm with continuity of personnel and performance, its the devils own task to predict anything at all.

We need miller and ashurst to be running at Pauli
We will beat Salford if we take it to them on Pauli’s edge

His tackle technique isn’t the best

Salford are favourites with the bookies (4.5 points) So no reason to expect a win away from home. Its a very tight competition again this year and the pressure is very much on them to win this one.

Having said that, a win tomorrow is definitely possible and would be a big boost.

I have not seen Bailey play, but happy to see how he goes if he gets the chance.
