Once again the fight at the bottom of Super League is much more interesting and intriguing than the battle at the top, but sadly this time we're involved in the former.

That's a great result for Shuds and a very disappointing one for Hull. Wigan can go to second in the table with a win on Sunday and Wakey can finish the afternoon with 22 points. Its a tall order for a Trinity win but the Shuds result should spur the squad on.

I've said this for a while, but Catalan today and Leeds tomorrow are the important games. Huddersfield was just insurance. If either of London or Hull KR win, they need to win the next game too (against each other), as this would make us safe as well.

Of course, if we beat Wigan, none of it matters, as even if London and Hull KR win this weekend, the loser of their next game cannot overtake us due to points difference

So, it's all on tomorrow (or next week, or the one after that).

In a season full of shock results, this was right up there and just shows what can happen when a side is "drinking in the last chance saloon".
I've no idea where their performance came from as the have been truly awful for a number of weeks. Granted, Hull have been THE most inconsistent side in the comp but, with 2nd spot having been well and truly up for grabs, this is a huge chance missed for them.
If London were to beat Leeds and KR overcome Catalan, both of which are possible, it will be very much game on.

We need Catalans and Leeds wins this weekend. With the Hull KR Vs London game next week, it will be impossible for both Hull KR and London to win the required two games each.

I would think Leeds will be wanting to sew it up tomorrow, as they are still not in the clear, but the Huddersfield result last night shows you can't take anything for granted!
