Please this can't be true,last home Sunday super league match was hkr 10th march ,could be wrong?

Frustrates me like crazy. I've held a season ticket for years, yet when games are on a week night it is difficult for me to make them. We've tried to hold our tradition of a Sunday home match team. I hope it is better next season.

I know what you mean and it frustrates me too but when Sky can shove you away on a Thursday / Friday the following week or you are away at a club who like to play their home games on Friday night what choice do the club have when trying to look after the welfare of its players?

I agree with the justification Cats13. I just think it is ridiculous that clubs like Saints, Wigan et al decide to host their home games on Fridays even when not televised. This reduces the opportunity for fans (home and away) to make the match due to travel/work commitments (accepted not everyone works on a Friday) and reduces the audience to watch live coverage of the televised match on Sky.

If I was the RFL I would insist that no matches take place at the same time as a televised match. I would be more strict and push for weekend only (not Fri) matches if not televised.

Absolutely agree . I can't get to most away games because they are Thursday or Friday. We have to do what Sky says regarding TV games ( we need the money ) but there should be no one else playing at the same time. Some times this season there have been no SL games on Sunday and 5 on Friday. It's ridiculous. It cuts away attendance at games spoiling the atmosphere and cuts viewing figures .Come on Elston . For goodness sake earn you inflated salary and lay the law down to these clubs who insist on playing all there own games on Friday night.

Some fans prefer to watch a game on a Friday with possibly less who don’t want to cross over the M62 and then they can nip to the coast on a Sunday.

How are we going to get the next generation of fans hooked on the game when matches are played after bedtime? I got hooked from a young age because I could make matches (which were on Sunday afternoons).

This goes for me too. Will always struggle with Thursday or Friday games. Seriously wondering whether it is worth the 2 season tickets I buy ?

For the big clubs I think its more for the corporate side of things. If companies want to take their employees \ clients out they are more likely to go on a Friday after work.

Personally I wouldn't go on a company do on a Saturday or Sunday.

The Thursday games are just terrible all round, that's purely because Sky don't have anything else to show.

I love Friday night games at home .

Let’s face it Thursday night games only exist due to the need for Sky to put something on when they can’t arrange another night of Dumper Truck Racing.

I don't mind an evening fixture but would rather we had more Sunday games; trouble is Sky - he who pays the piper etc...
