| Big relegation game tomorrow - who do WE want to see win....what will be better for us.
I still think London have the less quality and are far lees likely to win the 3 games needed to catch us(presuming if the unthinkable happens and we don't win another game) so I think we should hope Hull kR win.
thoughts?

Does it make any difference in this case?
Don’t think looking over our shoulder helps much tbh.

| I agree. If we are worried about who wins or loses this then we really are in trouble as the loser will undoubtedly win others.
We just need to work out how to win our own games.

Shouldn't the question be "Who do we think won?"
Judging by the majority of your previous posts you already know how things will turn out,

| In answer to the original post. I think I'd prefer Hull KR. With Tony Smith on board I think they will now move up the table. They have just taken "Beaker" on loan from Wire too who will boost there chances too.

| Is it about worrying though ? Does it make a difference ? Probably not. But there is a game on TV tonight and surely, if nothing else, it's all the more interesting (and fun?) taking a minute to decide who we want to win, and why, whether it matters or not.
London for me.

| On the basis that Leeds are likely to lose tomorrow night, the interesting outcome will be London winning, as then there will be two big clubs beneath them, and will they both be able to overtake?
I'm torn as to who I want to see go down. London bring a lot to the game generally, in spreading it in the South. Hull KR bring a lot to the game in terms of crowds and the Hull derby, and now Tony Smith is in charge they might become another Warrington with the right financial backing, because Wire were in a similar mess when he took over. Leeds? As a fan of the game, it would be a real loss to see them flounder and go down, particularly as it could be financially ruinous because of the ground expenditure, but it would be funny.
The crucial time is the back-end as the bottom clubs all play each other, and I'm slightly favouring London if it goes to the last weekend, on the basis that we'll have nothing to play for, hopefully.

| Taking out all the perms and the impact it could have on us, I'm really enjoying the London story - and I like the way they play; they're extremely well-drilled, and epitomise being more than the sum of their parts. They have no real superstars, no big money signings and quite a few lads who could rightly be described as misfits and rejects - but they've taken some huge scalps and play a really tight game. On that basis, I tend to cheer them on - when they're not playing us; those times, I throw my hands in the air and moan about us losing to a bunch of misfits who aren't SL quality.

I completely agree. I really hope they stay up but not at our expense.

| Just looking at the first half of this game both teams seem head and shoulders above us in most departments , their running into the ball and tackling is something we can only dream about at the moment .Seriously need to pull our thumbs out and step up to the challenge because I’d hate it to be us or London for the drop at this moment in time

It’s odd isn’t it that our most lethargic performances have come against these teams. It’s like we can raise our game against top clubs yet fail to match these two clubs even remotely. It’s a lack of respect for ALL the opposition ie we think we are better than we are.

Yup I don’t know that we have the graft at the moment. I used to get annoyed when people didn’t used to give us credit so I’m not going to do the same to London I’m full of admiration for them.

To be fair Abdul is playing behind a better pack than our , more worrying for me is the passion and energy they played with , against our lethargic showing at Salford .How much is this down to players attitude, coaching or conditioning?

Thing is we haven't even raised our game against the top teams this year either, apart from Wire at home in the second half. But still can't ame away with 0 points.
People say Chester hasn't become a bad coach, but London are now 2 points behind after being adrift for most part of the season.

| That was one of the best games televised games I've seen all season; and London, despite all the supposed shortcomings I listed in an earlier post, won based on team spirit, guts, determination and, crucially, a game plan - using Walker to terrorise their vertically challenged FB was a masterstroke.
I don't know what he feeds his forwards down there, but we should order a few crates.
Excellent win - thoroughly deserved.

Don't agree, against Saints at home we were excellent and Hull away but what I mean is in relative terms. The effort and ability shown in those games would have won us our home game against HKR and Leeds and probably the second London game but we simply didn't turn up for any of those games and its those games that get you top 5's and not heroic second halves against Warrington.

| We seem to have lost the grunt and seige mentality we had a couple of years ago. Both London and Hull Kr have had to dig deep in the last couple of years whereas we have been in more of a comfort zone. Can our players change their mentality, I really hope so starting tonight. Making the journey tonight but I have to admit it’s only because my 7 year old grandson wants to go. Here’s hoping they look st east like they have been training together unlike last weeks shambles.

| Saw Walker for the first time last night very good attacker but defence wise not so good let a few high balls bounce & tackling was suspect certainly no better than what we've got. taking into account that Hampshire will be going ( We don't know yet) Jowitt can fill that position if he carries on playing like he has been. Please don't start making this a Jowitt thread it was just an observation on last nights game

He looked decent but but nothing special but thats based on the few times I've seen him, frankly if London stay up why would he bother moving to us unless we have a late rally this season. Its taken four years to make Trinity look attractive sadly it won't take that long to make us look unattractive.
