Would be a great signing but he counts as no fed trained doesn't he, since he's never played over here at any real level and moved to Aus at 16. It makes the homesick comment a little bit strange having lived there for 13 years but what do I know.
As it says, I'd be surprised St George will let him go and he's on a million dollars a year currently.

This on the NRL site says that they are prepared to release him after next season to finish his playing days in England.
It says on that, Huddersfield told reporters in England they were not in a position to make an offer now.

I'm not sure why but he always reminds me of Mark Conway - technically very good but still something missing.

I have never really watch him in the NRL but when he has played for England he has never really stood out. I think he is a good player and probably better than most halfs in SL at the moment but not quite sure he has that X Factor to make him world class.

Similar to yourself I haven't watched much of him but in the games I have seen he's never really done anything spectacular, but he seems to be consistent, versatile and an excellent goal kicker.

his gait/running style and posture is very reminiscent of Mark Conway
he doesn't have Conway's kicking stutter though |

If this was the only reason we couldn’t sign him.
I have watched him many times on the TV and when he played he made a big difference to the performance of the St George team. Their form dipped when he was injured so I think it is safe to say their is little doubt about his quality. A player who can hold down a regular spot in both the Melbourne and St George team has obviously proven his ability.
