Mary C - Wakefield MP has placed two brilliant letters of objections to the council in particular the 2nd one spells out the new value of the land due to HS2 & asks for a new 106 agreement to be granted/placed because of HS2 which is available to the council !
Now where does Box & the council stand - if they are genuine this current stalemate with Yorkcourt should be over & brought to a conclusion. I strongly recommend you read Mary's full 2nd letter.
There is no room for not carrying out this stadium now The new sec of state intends to buy & build - HS2
However I am jumping the gun -- I forgot about the Box prevention factor !!!!!!

I am led to believe that Andrea Jenkyns has objected too, but I can't find these comments on the portal? Can anyone confirm? Has she done it through a private route?

Like you, her enthusiasm to help our plight has so far failed to impress me. Andrea Jenkins also needs to step up.


I expect far more from the pair of them in the future.

In respect of Jenkins, its quite simple its her constituency, its her parties secretary of state that box has ridiculed and its an excellent chance to put the boot into her political opponents.


Creagh should also be deeply ashamed of a political leader of a major local authority who purports to hold Labour party principals and yet displays all the despicable characteristics that can match the worst tory attributes. Box should be a massive embarrassment to her and her party and she should be moving heaven and earth to get him expelled.


Oh I forgot to mention Trickett, there's nothing in it for him so lets move on.
