I know where your coming from but I suppose there are those who take the view that if there was anything to say it would have been said.
when we were without anything being agreed at all I accepted that, but I thought we now had some sort of agreement in place therefore you would think it wouldn't hurt just to give the occasional update just to keep us all interested!

And a very poor one at that.

When there is proper news MC will let us know. There is no point in putting information out for it to be the subject of conjecture by those who seek to derail a deal.

MC was on RL on RY about 2 weeks ago or so, he got asked the stadium question on the show and said he hasn't received any information from 88m to look over yet, that was promised for the end of January, so he couldn't say any more than that.

Can't imagine how frustrating it must be for MC and the other people involved. Seems Yorkcourt have almost been forgotten about in this whole scandalous mess - the council need to pull their finger out. We've already had god knows how many years of feet dragging and book passing, so whats a few more years...

Not sure but it could be the new housing development on the main road, selling for round about half a million apiece.

Nah, they are on the opposite side of the road, built on a former industrial site.

The new housing is on the former Mercedes Benz site.

If you walked down from the Gallows Lane entrance, there was a large area with a lot of shrubbery that made for a pleasant walk. Now it's just churned up mud with pieces of wood splinters scattered everywhere. Might not sound bad, if you walk there regularly it's pretty shocking. Same thing has happened recently to Walton Nature Reserve.

I commented earlier that perhaps the occasional update would be welcome, but it was NOT aimed towards MC, more the council. Couldn't they have published some sort of timetable by now?

Just had a very interesting conversation with a very knowledgeable individual who sadly I can't name. He seems to think the BV upgrade is a goer and that certain people have been given a rough ride which in his opinion is unfair. He may be right he may not who knows but he seems to think that people should hold off the finger wagging (me included) and give it a chance. So I will personally lay off for now but the clock is still very much ticking imho.
