| The dream team list is out, and even though Wakefield finished strongly in 5th place, they are the only team to have zero representation (From the top in the dream team.

| In the super 8's I presume you mean. To be fair the collective strength is what got Trinity to 5th rather than outstanding individuals. Fifita perhaps unlucky not to be in over the Farts prop and O'Loughlin is a strange one.

I honestly don't know why we are surprised ,the RFL set up and that includes England, will always be a click, they've never yet picked a team on form.

Agree. Personally I'd have Fifita in over Ikahihifo and BJB in with Eden. 2nd row is strong but you could defo make a case of Ashurst over Murdoch-Masila, although tbf he's had a good season at Salford as well. Ashurst hasn't scored the tries or made the tackle breaks he has, so probably hasn't caight the eye as much. But has far more tackles, far less missed tackles percenatge wise and more meters at a similar AG.
Saying that I'm not sure how Walmsley hasn't made the team, the guys an absolute machine.

| Mostly as expected.
Hand on heart I think we'd struggle to have an individual in that team.
Fifita maybe but it would be hard to put him above walmsley or a couple of the Hull props, who aren't in either.
Centre is quite a weak area and Bill Tupou may have had a chance if he played all season like he did in the last 10 games.
SOL is a great player but looks like all he has to do is turn up to get nominated.

| BJB is unlucky to be third behind those two.
Fifita is have put in but as said the Hull lads have a case too.
SOL just shouldn't be in.
The rest I'm ok with.

| Personally I'd have Ashurst over BMM. BJB has been really unlucky but I can see why Eden and Fonua have made the side.
SOL and the Huddersfield prop though are just ridiculous choices. Walmsley/fifita are far better players that's before you consider hulls props.

I can see why BMM has been picked - despite having less impressive stats than MA, what he does do is usually spectacular and grabs attention. MA is a quiet achiever.
I totally agree about forwards though - Walmsley is the best prop in SL by a country mile - it's mad that he's not included!

This for me. The O'loughlin selection is as strange as the many accolades he gets from various screen experts. He obviously has talents but has as many cheap shots in his armoury.

| O'loughlin seems to get the best of the team when he plays so you can't knock him there, throw another players name in Topou

His ability to motivate is his obvious talent I suppose, but I just don't know how he made the 'dream team'
That said, who gives a monkeys anyway. Not me.

| I think a few of your lads would have had a shout. BJB probably would be my third choice (Fonua last season in this country and has carried Hull at times and well you cant leave out the top try scorer)
I like Ashurst and would have him over BMM who has done nothing really the last 10 or so rounds.
Finn been great all year but unfortunate that Gale has been immense from game 1.
The rest probably cant argue with.

| The Dream Team is selected by a vote by journalists. I think Wakey have been a bit unlucky but can't see how BJB should have been in there - from what I've seen he still seems to be inconsistent to me and prone to absolute shockers, but I don't see every game so maybe it was just the ones I saw.

| Tbf to BJB at one point I'd agree about his inconsistancy etc, but this year he's been very good for us. Also compared to Fonua he's made less errors 31 to 37 and given away less pens 7 to 14 but the main thing is he's scored 20 tries to 11. Anyway BJB and Fonua are different types of players and both offer something different to the other.
Like others have said in the grand scheme of things it matters little. it woud have been great personally for whichever player got in, but like someone else mentioned, I'd prefer Trinity's best players to go a little unnoticed.

| The dream team means nothing. It's just a publicity thing.
SOL is in because he's the England captain. I've seen people throw stats about left right and centre, it's generally irrelevant.
Walmsley is the biggest omission for me, and I don't see how BJB was overlooked from your point of view.
I see your point with Fifita, but Walmsley is miles in front of everyone.
Not seen enough of the Huddersfield prop to really comment.
The rest of it seems fair enough.
As a cas fan I'd argue Webster has been better than percival AND Shenton, although again, he's not a fashionable choice. I'd probably say he same for Ashurst. Just a little unfashionable. Which again, is all it really boils down to.
Murdoch Masila was great for about a third of the season. He's vanished into anonymity since about a month before the middle 8s

| Would have had Walmsley in based on statistics for the season but Ikahihifo is absolutely brilliant. Would have him at Wakey any day over pretty much anyone in our squad.

It may mean nothing, but it's good publicity, and good publicity is good for any club, especially the smaller and unfashionable ones
