Great news this, I have always been a fan of his and think he got a bit of a raw deal but he has been excellent this season.

Great news, excellent player!

Must admit when we first signed him I thought he might be a bit of a dud, given his handling wasn't great but he has improved out of sight and is our best go-forward carrier of the ball.

Good news is this.

He is an excellent signing getting stronger and better, I cannot see anything but him becoming a top back.

It seemed to take him a while to settle and to show what a good player he is.

Look forward to seeing him score plenty more and set a few up for his wingman.

Positive news, it's very encouraging that players want to stay. Arguably our most improved player, he's had a great season.

Ill be honest, when he first signed I thought he was hopeless and played out of position. But he has improved vastly since. Strong carries and a decent try scoring record. Happy to see us tie up another signing for the next few years. I wonder who else we are working on resigning at the moment....

Where do we think his best position is though... he has looked pretty good on the wing! And Arundel would have been keeping his centre this week for me had it not been for that injury!

I'm always a bit nervous when someone puts a kick up towards him on the wing. I'd leave him at centre but he'd probably make a good back rower I reckon.

Well done the Club, it's excellent news. Bill has certainly eaned it with his performances the past couple of years. He seems to me to be just reaching his peak as well.

i agree with the rest of the posts, mr reliable has had his best season - he seems fitter, leaner & a little quicker, just needs to add better variety to his passing game

In regards his best position I'd say centre
Although he's an excellent winger also
It's good to have that extra bit of versatility from a player

What I really want to see is the wing centre combo with tommy next season
If they can learn to play off each other, work and read each other they could be try scoring machines and top defensively also

Hi musson, I can understand the excitement. For me though I always thought that Arundle was the best centre for Johnstone, together they always seemed to generate a lot of tries and scoring opportunities. It is debatable as to whether Arundle or Tupou is the best centre but I think Joe is better for Tom.

I think we look a more balanced side with Joe in the team, especially when he shows the kind of form he did against Leeds. But I also think Tupou is a cracking player on his day, and Lyne gets better each season.... nice selection dilemma to have I suppose!
