I suppose he's technically a descent ref but he completely over referees the games
Whistle blowing every minute completely slows the game down and makes the game very hard to enjoy

Slightly off topic but I do wish we would play more advantages and bring back quick taps
I think it would make the referee less noticeable in our sport and bring a level of excitement back too

Thought he reffed OK on Saturday, missed a couple of high shots but that was about it.

Think the penalties went 8-9 in Widnes favour on Saturday with the majority of ours being for technical offences defending close to our line.

I would like to ask Chez & Daddycool that when we are Defending our line and a player is pre-Tackled over our line before the Ref shouts held why don't we just run him out of the dead ball line and receive a 20m restart OR as the rules change now so you cant take him over the dead ball line.

Always remember Korki being walked over the dead ball line one time and ref allowed it. Thoughts






Up The Trin

Don't be fooled by the ex-player bit for us, he wasn't offered a pro contract and seems extremely bitter about that whenever we've had him, he's managed to pull penalties against us that haven't even been in the rule book at times, he certainly won't/doesn't favour us !!

Kendall's been okay for us this season apart from the game at your place, he missed two or three calls that hurt us points wise but if you don't see them you can't call them and if he gets no help from the touchy's then he he gets the flack, had we won though I'm sure the Wakey fans that went would have made allowances for that.

He's a bit whistle-happy but that'll diminish in time. Child used to be like that but I think he's a decent ref now.

Ultimately, it's up to the players. In the first half of the Cas and Leeds game, Bentham was virtually invisible because there were two teams who just wanted to get on with it instead of looking for every minor advantage at the ruck. If your game is all about the ruck, you will concede penalties.

For those who think he is OK just remember that disgusting incident on BJB in the Huddersfield game and the gutless and biased way Kendal dealt with it.

Whilst they all make mistakes I think Kendall and Campbell are probably the best 2 refs around at the moment. Things don't always go our way but I've never felt the ref was against us as much this season than when we had Jack Smith against Wigan - that was a joke of a referee display.

Yes I agree about Smith in that game also. I will also add that other than the Huddersfields game Kendal was not too bad.

However Jack Smith is a Wigan lad and should have never got that gig against us.

Same with Kendal, Huddersfield supporter so he should not get their fixtures IMHO .

BY the way, we never seem to get Thaler anymore
