Hi guys having tried Belle Vue Blonde and Ruby league I loved to hear your response good and bad as to decide what be best for the next home game against Leigh, this ones televised and could attract far less watching on a thursday night at the ground, by the way there was one a few pint difference in consumption

I had a couple of pints of Ruby yesterday and it went down like pop, it was bloody lovely. First time I've had it and it left me wanting more

Not tried the other but that Ruby was really nice yesterday.

I tried Hop and Under in the New Inn, Walton on Saturday. Tasted good but was kept a bit too warm for my liking, it was verging on room temperature.

Tried all 3 that were on, for the JD night, and then went back on to the Ruby.

Personally, prefer Ruby, but tend to go for the darker beers anyway.

When Mrs EW tried it, she said it had a bit of a smoky sort of taste to it

That might have been the Castella she was smoking

The Belle Vue Blonde is a fine pint, I would normally only have a pint of the normal offering while watching the game and have a few more down Harrys bar or similar afterwards but 4/5 of your real ale at the ground could become the norm

I had a pint of Trinity from the shed it was V nice indeed.

It must be good to put a smile on your face.

As a driver to the games, who live out of the area, do you have a take out facility open from the brewery on game days?

legalities means they should be not be drunk away from purchase i.e in the street but you can take them home consumption,
I do have two pinters like milk cartons but the have to be consumed within a few hrs or transferred into something that wouldn't taint the flavour,

I'll ask if the club if they have any objections as I wouldn't like it to lead to complaints if anything happen outside the ground, last thing we need is bad press

I wonder what the legalities are of getting a two litre plastic bottle then having it filled near the end of the game, seal it and have it when you get home? Unless you're flying home!

got the ok but only sold the one tonight but yes I can make it a regular feature, great response from all tonight visiting the bar at the back I hope its working for everyone, shame some find the need to relieve them selves behind though

on monday the choice of real ale will be our classic Legend a nice 3.9 abv session beer that should go down well with a 62-0 repeat win
