It's with sadness the news that Terry Kelly passed away over the weekend. Many of you will have known Terry from his days as a Trinity commitee man back in the 60s, auther of "Sporting Catholics" a tribute to those of St Austins school and church, part founder of Carslile RLFC and magnificent fund raiser for local rugby league, Help the Heroes, Wakefield Hospice and more. I had the pleasure of working on numerous montages insigated by Terry including those celebrating Neil Fox, David Topliss, Trinity Tourist, Trinity Lance Todd holders amongst others.
RIP Terry.

There was no greater lover of all things Trinity, nor many who could match his knowledge. RIP Terry.

I knew him, though not as well as some.
A good man who did a lot for Wakefield and rugby league and he did it through effort rather than just giving money.

RIP

Bellycouldtackle took me round to meet him once, a real pleasure very interesting man.

A great friend of Trinity in the past. The shop windows in Wakefield have never looked as clean as when he did them. RIP Terry!

RIP Terry,

As has been said, Terry loved Wakefield Trinity and was a prolific fund raiser for numerous good causes.

He collaborated in authoring Wakefield Sporting Catholics which is a great book containing loads of amusing and interesting Rugby League related stories within its pages.

Sadly one of a diminishing generation the likes of which we can I'll afford to lose.

I remember playing soccer for CYMS back in the 50's with Terry and caught up with him on one of our trips back to UK in 1988 a real good guy our thoughts with his wife Kathleen RIP mate
