At the risk of opening a hornets nest , is there any update on the ground /88M group etc. Are talks ongoing?

Well, no plans have been revealed, Yorkcourt are probably biding their time until the club relocates to Dewsbury and the council will breath a huge sigh of relief when we do.

Not heard any more, although I think Michael Carter is away.

What I will say is that Super Bowl and Oasis is now completely flat, and all the rubble has been cleared. It also looked like it was in the process of all being levelled.

So if we are staying put, the work is being done reasonably quickly. The bulldozers began to knock it all down at the end of August.

We were told a 3D plan of a new ground was 2 weeks away. That was in August.

So in summary:- No.

Waiting for the ground to happen has parallels to that play 'Waiting for Godot'

The characters are convinced Godot will arrive but alas he never turns up.

Was at the ground on Wednesday. The rubble is far from cleared away. It is flattened but still full of bricks etc. There is also a wire fence running into the ground entrance across rubble.

I pass it every day, and it did look clear this morning.

I will be passing it later tonight, but on foot, will have a closer look

TRB can hardly disclose the contents of a document that has yet to arrive.

Reading between the lines, I'm guessing it's not looking promising. I presume that it is something that Yorkcourt will say removes their obligation to do anything, and then it's up to the new owner as to whether they are willing to do anything themselves.

Even my eternal optimism is tested to the full after all these years. The faith put on some people / organisations has been misplaced and the appetite by those who have authority to bring these to book is not there. The time for a change of course in this process draws ever nearer, but there is still a 1 in a million chance that what will inevitably follow could be avoided.
