| I have a feeling MC might have similar feelings after the way we have bern treated ny the disciplinary. Notice in Warrington game Cox did a head butt and got away with it!

| I can't see any value in a vote of no confidence for the RFL.
What alternative is there?

| Koukash is an embarrassment to the sport. Everybody knows the RFL needs change but Koukash just wants to be top dog and run rough shod over the game.
Hope MC doesn't fall in line with the clowns latest Mr Big Stunt.

| The guy is an embarrassment to the sport. If he gets his way it'll be an 8 team Super League with players earning the same as NRL. He has no respect for the History of Rugby League in England. It would be a nail in the coffin for teams like us, he is getting very boring and Chairmen that get involved with his wacky ideas have either more money than sense or are plain stupid; or a combination of both.

| I think he raises a good point. The RFL are not fit for purpose. The match review panel, the tv deal, the stobart sponsorship farce etc. We need to clubs to have more say in what goes on, the RFL needs to be shaken up. Already lost Solly, who was a force for good and some fresh blood giving input would be very welcome.

| Wakefield have proved that you don't have to pay up to the maximum salary cap to provide good, entertaining rugby league. Look where Leeds are with their highly paid team of "all stars".
Koukash is an egotistical berk with no respect for the game, and is obviously used to having his own selfish way in a previous life. I think the game would be all the better without his presence.

| Hope Marwan stirs things up.
Heard big fat Nigel is defacating himself at prospect of the Whinos being in bottom 4. He has introduced a new rule stating if Whinos in bottom 4 then team in 8th place will go into middle 8's and Whinos will go straight to Grand Final without passing GO.

| For me, it's not that fact that he complains and says that the RFL are not fit for purpose, it that he hasn't come up with any alternative whatsoever.
Of course there are things wrong with the game, a medium and long term plan, for a kick off. But, what doe he wan in it place ?
is guy would bankrupt the sport within 5 years.
Salford are blowing cash quicker than Viv Nicholson and at me pointe needs to get them on an even keel, rather than telling the RFL that they a not fit for purpose.
IF he had done anything close to what he set out to achieve at Salford people would sit up and take note but, for now, he comes across a your typical arrogant wealthy bloke, who thinks that his personal wealth is more important than the game.
He should wind his neck in and start to do things property, starting with treating his own staff and players with a bit more respect.

| Personally don't mind the guy. Not sure I'd want him controlling things at BV though, no matter how welcome his millions would be.
As far his war with Knock Off Nigel, I hope he is successful. We need new blood running the game not a committee man who run Halifax into the ground.

| MK is doing anything in order to fulfil his own agenda. He is stirring it by saying they are 'not fit for purpose', trying to get other chairman onside. The RFL may not be fit for purpose, but his main objective is to smash the salary cap and we as a club surely don't want that as it leaves us even further behind the sugar daddies and 'big spenders'.

I have to disagree all he is doing is standing up bullys otherwise known as the RFL, the same RFL we had to take to court to get into super league in the first place. So is he not just doing what we did all those years ago after beating Featherstone fair and square.

I'm expecting him, when the fur starts flying, to start blurting out other examples at other clubs and that's when we can sit back and watch the rest of SL to squirm. They are all deducted points and we win the title!

Exactly this, any Chairmen that haven't got millions to squander supporting this loonatic need their bumps feeling. The Salary cap is just about keeping us in touch, tripling it will be disaster.

| Cap needs seriously redressing!! If it had risen with inflation to ensure that the 1.8m was still relevant then the cap today would be 2.8m that's a million pound less quality on.the pitch so really the cap has failed.
That has had a significant effect on the quality of players in super league due to clubs not able to afford the same amount of quality players.
The increase could should have been offsett by tv right payments, more money to spend on better players means a better spectacle and would enable rflbto negotiate not just accept whatever sky offer because a few million sounds like a lot!! Infact the cap is covered by the annual tv payments so how you.feel an increase would mean you couldn't compete confuses me... So the ticket sales and match day revenue is not being used on wages,I don't see how an increase to the cap would not be viable for most well ran clubs.
Mk has had some stupid rants but his challenge here is a valid one irrespective of what has provoked him to react like this the rfl is certainly not fit for purpose
They failed to market and take advantage of the NZ test win, we're doing well internationally despite the rfl not with them, winning one of next two tournaments o's.not impossible do you have confidence in.the rfl to take advantage of a world cup win??
Constantly increading the cap is not the answer longterm but it must stay relevant.

| Agree the RFL is run slipshod and not fit for purpose in a lot of areas the review panel and offences or non offences what ever they decide is abysmal and not consistent the marketing of the game is abysmal. The trouble is the good Doctor would be no better as it would be his way or not at all and the game would go bust as would a lot of clubs on the way.

Is any of this connected to Blake Solly going down under ?

If the cap had risen year on year in line with inflation then the players agents/negotiators would retort - because you, as a club, have had an increase in the salary cap ie an inflation adjustment, then this same 'inflation' has affected my player in the same way and he would like the inflation adjustment 'given' to you by the governing body.
In short the inflation adjustment would be eaten up by the current players and thus there would not be any more dosh to spend on 'new' players, who would probably be overseas players with even bigger wage demands.
