Today's performance was the best in the last three years if not the last ten. Every player did his bit and more. Defence and attack were sublime and with a decent referee the score could have bee nearer 80.

I didn't think Hewer had a bad game and seemed pretty fair.
He reffed the game and not which team was wearing what shirt.
Could have given an 'under strength' Wigan team a massive leg up but didn't.

I thought he had a stinker and some of his decisions against us we're baffling. The one especiallywhere Miller kicked against a Wigan player and reclaimed the ball to score. What was wrong with that?

The disallowed Jowitt try was also very baffling

I was in the North Stand and couldn't see Millers 'try'.

Hewer gave at least 6 penalties to wigan in 2 minutes. Just look at the last minute of each half, he was determined to get them over the whitewash. He also made their 22 metre area a no tackle zone because every time we had them in their own quarter he penalised us for one offence or another. However this is something the coaching staff need to take control of for the rest of the season.

Some of his decisions were baffling - I assumed he'd taken pity on Wigan and was trying to avoid any further embarrassment for them; but try as he might, they couldn't get over the line.

Nah, we were slowing the play down. They deserved the penalties.
