A quick plea for any advice please.

I often read these forums from an iPad I have at home. I do get annoyed though since everytime I switch the iPad on I have to re-login to RL Fans. I tick the box to keep me logged in (which works on PCs and a mobile phone) but doesn't seem to work on the iPad.

Has anybody else experienced this problem? If so do you have any ideas how to resolve it please? It is very frustrating.

No mate, mine keeps me logged in at all times.

It tends to do this if you have logged in from a different browser say on a laptop, think that the new cookiestops the older one working.

I thought of that. It still happens though if I've only accessed the forum via the iPad for a few days in a row.

Look at your settings to see if you are clearing your cookies each time you turn it off (or stand by)

How would I do that? I struggle finding things in the iPad settings.

I'm just struggling with only about a third of the screen been used for the actual forum. It means every single time I load a page I then have to reverse pinch or double tap the screen.

Try chrome and make sure passwords are on in settings, personally I hate chrome on my windaz PC/laptop but it's loads better than safari on the iPad

I use an adblock browser and it works fine, its on the app store.

I use chrome but an adblocking one recommended on here recently. The site design on here is shocking,really needs an overhaul and a whole lot less intrusive pain in the adverts.

I use apollo browser on my ipad ,it has fewer adverts than safari ,so doesn't reduce the size of the text.

Why should users have to dick around with browsers and adblockers!

Sort the site out because it's getting more and more user unfriendly by the month

The ads pay for the site! Just get chrome with adblock extension and you'll never see them again.

There are lots of sites and forums that are funded from advertising but I can't ever remember one anything like as unusable as this one.

I used to occasionally click on the odd advert, whilst the site stays as it is i will not be doing this. Poor design amd structure.

Which version of the site do you use? I find the i.rlfans.com version best. Somewhere between the full version and the m.rlfans.com version.
