When I heard Scrutton interview to radio leeds after the game he made it clear he was a Leeds supporter and kept going on about how great Leeds are. Also - did you even watch the game today? Scruton had a good game on both sides of the ball today. He's not had a great start to the season, but credit where it's due.

Thought Scruton had a great game and watching his and other players reaction to his try showed nothing but pride and passion for the club. Great day at BV really hope that performance encourages more through the turnstiles for our next home game as that atmosphere with a few more thousand down is just what our club needs. Thought Scrutes had a good game. He had a couple of good runs and was pleased to score his try!

He does hard yards that allow others to get the break. He was elbows and knees every time today. Always got stopped but a big bust isn't always what he is trying to do.

I didn't think Scruton had one of his better games on Friday, his attack could have been stronger for me, but generally I don't understand the stick he gets. He doesn't stand out like England, but he never loses ground and makes a lot of tackles in the middle. I see him more of a grafter who's capable of doing long minutes. We're a better side with him in it.

Your last line sums up Scruton's role perfectly.
He's a grafting prop that can do long minutes, subbing him after 20 mins is not helping him.
Some people are marathon runners, some are sprinters.
If the substitute rules change, like they have in Oz and I'm sure the RFL will follow like puppies, Scruton becomes a massive asset.

I think England and scruton are our best pairing and we all are in agreement, they can both do big minutes and in first half proper dominated first 20 mins, I still think we are in need of another quality prop as when these too are off the pitch we do tend to loose our way slightly, so be interesting to see if Anderson can lift his game and join the party?
