Great news for the sport of Rugby League and better still that he didn't end up at Leeds

I would have liked to have seen him at Leeds and providing entertainment in the S L.

No doubt the union hacks will be slagging him off for it....

According to Brian Noble and Jonathan Davis one of the broadsheet newspapers yesterday said it was good riddance to Sam Burgess as he was a northerner who could not adapt to Rugby Union. I suppose the upper class oik doesn't know that Union extends to Leeds and Newcastle and a lot further north than Gloucester. If they had developed Sam instead of rushing him into the England line up I'm sure he would have showed them how the game should be played. Get real you southern Jessie!

How many ex RL players are now either playing or coaching in rugby union compared to ex RU players doing the same in RL.
