He got what he wanted though a reduction of rent on the old girl I'm sure if could not have got a reduction on the £250,000 a year you would have come up with the amount of money it would have needed to cover the difference of what he thought was a fair amount and that £250,000.

Was the rent actually £250,000? As I understood it; that was the figure it cost to play there I.e. Rent, repairs & upkeep etc.
Can anyone say what the actual rent was and what it is now/going to be? Will it show in the accounts?
Whatever the answer any kind of reduction has to be a good thing so well played MC.

The rent was 125k with the same again the cost of running repairs to the ground, so that part likely won't change. MC has said he won't be revealing how much the rent reduction is. |

Is the iconic Odsal Stadium that much better than Belle Vue. Odsal is just a big hole in the ground witb zero atmosphere for away supporters and less cover. Evethe western terrace has that small covered area at the far end

Probably because he's just won a risky hand of poker with an international bank, and doesn't want to rub their faces in it by revealing exactly how big a hit they've taken in the process.

If I was running a business, I wouldn't be handing out this kind of information either. The business dealings of the club are for the accountant and CEO only as far as Im concerned. |
