From the club I believe. Sky are broadcasting a 3pm kick off so nothing to do with them.

I just can't see many Widnes fans turning up on a Saturday evening, and given our own fans ability to find any excuse not to go, then eating into what is traditionally "night out" time looks to me like it won't work. Hope I'm wrong as we need all the backing we can muster to get us through this next game.

A lot of Liverpool and Man Utd fans in Widnes.

We used to have games on Saturday nights at 6pm for Sky, and the attendances were always poor. Would have been perfect for Sunday, particularly as it would give Widnes less recovery time for a tough fixture the following week (although I can't work out yet whether it is better for them to win or lose the game the following week).

Mind you, I can't go at anytime, due to a commitment in Scotland, at 5.30pm on Saturday, so I'll be a secret Twitter watcher.

I'm not sure why so many people moan about a 6pm kick off on a Saturday night. Serious question, what else are these people doing? Has the population of Wakefield devolved so much that their weekly entertainment relies on staying in for X Factor and Strictly?

.......and don't have Sky+ or Tevo or even a Betamax video recorder?

I work every Sat to enable me to have every Sunday off so I can attend (most) home games.
I work in a Monday to Sunday business.

I can use leave for some games but Saturday games aren't much good for myself.

Works fine for me, few beers in wakey before then maybe a few after

Going to have to make a very quick dash across from Oakwell to BV on Saturday (probably miss last 10 mins of Barnsley game). Thankfully Mr Carter changed it from a 3.00 ko to 6.00 ko therefore relieving me of an awful dilemma to ponder.
