Bucking the trend, most Trinity players stop playing well and working hard for the team in early May when they have got their club for next season sorted out. Danny has it seems to me always given his best and as a fan you can`t ask for more, you can forgive the weaknesses in his game because you know he is giving 100 %

1st match of the season at Cas he dropped the ball in the 1st 10 minutes with the line at his mercy. I thought here we go again but he later scored the match winning try and has continued grafting all season.

That's a shame and I wish him well. Already been said on this thread about his contribution this year, a big heart and wish they'd all been like him this year.

Having said that he can be replaced.

Although Washbrook has been a regular scapegoat for some Wakefield fans, he is very much an unsung hero.
Always amongst the top tacklers and despite the regular criticism, he sets up plenty of try's for Trinity.

Thanks for your efforts this year Danny, you have shown players like Craig Hall what it means to have a spine and guts.

One of those players who always gives you everything he has got, whatever the situation. Never going to be a world beater but a good solid superleague standard player who will be missed.

Whilst the competition is weak, Danny is clearly a strong contender for our player of the season.

Looking at what we've already got signed for next year he will be missed. We need more, no glory, just hard working guys like him to build a nucleus of a team.

Says something that on the day one of our better players announces he is leaving, one of Bradfords signs a new two year deal. Has any of out out of contract players signed a new deal over the course of this year for next season yet?

Washbrook solid professional. Good luck to him did well in his time at Trinity and still has a job to do to help keep us in Super League.

I never thought that Molloy would be considered a good signing but I suppose that is how bad things have got. It is a shame about Washbrook because he is the type of player every club needs.
I presume looking at our current modus operandi that Hull had no players they wanted to send over to allow Washbrook to leave early unless that was of course our new old hooker Howarth.
