Sorry if all this has been said before but, I'm working away and the Internet is patchy at best.

A fantastic win for us.

Something that's annoying me is the excuses some other fans are using to justify our win.

I have friends who follow various other teams and they are all pretty much saying that, the only reason we won was because they were so tired due to the short turnaround. I'm sorry but I'm not buying that. I'm sure it was a huge factor but, every team experiences that at least once during a season and you have to deal with it. They are a big enough squad and I'm lead to believe have reasonable depth.

This win could have the same psychological effect of signing two or three players. If we had hit the Eights without a further win, I would have been seriously concerned. I know one win doesn't make us world beaters but, I'm significantly more confident that we will be ok.
