DOES ANYONE KNOW IF OR WHEN HE,S DUE BACK,AND WHAT WAS THE NATURE OF HIS INJURY,IT MUST HAVE BEEN A BAD ONE

According to last week's programme he tore his groin muscle from the pubic bone and it has taken two operations to fix it back to the bone. A really bad injury that looked fairly innocuous at the time.

We were a successful side until he went off injured and he was clearly our stand out forward when he played. It will be like a new top class signing when he is back. In Brian Smith's interview on the Club website he said that all players are now back in training so we must be close to having him back on the field.

Was really impressed with Ashurst at the start of the season and he reminded me of when Kirmond was at his best, running solid good lines.

Throw Ashurst, Ali, Anderson, Sio and possibly now Walker in the mix and our pack looks a whole lot stronger/different.
