Carter took control with one ultimate aim - to try and recoup some of his investment.

The club has been run on a shoestring from top to bottom to save money and what you see now delivered is the fruits of that shoestring.

Carter never has and never will give a flying **** what happens as long as he and his pal can pull back some of their investment.

The club is on the brink of oblivion,there will be no new stadium and BOI will ultimately get their way and have us out of Belle Vue.

So why would our chairman waste money on sacking the coach - it wont change the direction the club is heading - Oblivion!

I don't think he is after pulling his money back - he just doesn't want to lose anymore. By that I mean he just won't commit - or in other words has no ambition for the club. He somehow believes his is a brave experiment to prove you can run a RL club on the money it generates. You can't and he must know that now but unlike most owners he will not inject any new capital - instead he waits to be proved right when Webster turns it around - someone needs to tell him that won't happen!

Funny how Carter is spendthrift when it's his own money. Is he not the accountant from the Glover/Elston debacle ? Alright when it's someone else's money being squandered. There is nothing positive about the club at present, it's like nobody but the fans give a toss.
MC is way out of his depth not knowing anything about the game as are the coaching staff and sadly it might be the most expensive squad we have ever had in super league, but we don't have a team. We have a few individuals who put a shift in but the majority should question whether they are in the right career, because they exhibit none of the fundamental requirements of a rugby league player (heart, desire, work ethic and honesty)

I can't believe that the lights went out during the BBC after match analysis. It is just one embarrassment after another. I have a question how many people do we employ because I never appear to see or hear about them. Do we have a marketing team ?

Teds not coming back nor Steve Ferres or JK or Andy Kelly but it makes you realise that you don't realise what you had till it's gone. All those mentioned were flawed I know that but then who isn't - yet from 2000 to 2010 they kept us in SL and better still from 2004 to 2010 we were pretty competitive and hard to play with only the first few seasons as expected and 2006 where we were in any real trouble. I'm not rose tinting it we were never great but at least we competed and on the field at least earned the right to be in SL.

We are lucky we got 1300 to pay to watch us after the garbage the team has served up for months. If we were in Leigh position we would have got much more people willing to watch us. I aren't going to criticise anyone who has given up because the team are not giving us anything to make us want to watch them and the club don't seem bothered about being an embarrassment
