| Even with Smith Webster will find a way to keep Sammut out of the squad.

| Looks like summut will get his chance.....
Kirmond does look to have been struggling which is a shame as he's not hit good form for some time now.
Anyway, hopefully we can give Wigan a good hiding lol

| Hopefully we're getting the injuries out of the way early doors. Fingers crossed we should have a fully fit squad come the split.

| Don't think it the way the world works getting injuries out of the way early season. These things just happen but would be nice to have a bit more luck.
For my guess
Owen
Johnstone
Collis
Arundel
Riley
Hall
Sammut
Scruton
Macshane
Simon
Ryan
Ali
Washy
Subs
Hand
Smith
Crowther

| They are two big losses against a mis-firing Wigan side. There was also talk about Own and Ryan struggling and with Catalan at home 6 days after, who are not travelling well and have key injuries themselves, i'd be very tempted to leave them out and get them closer to full fit fitness. I'd go
Hall
Johnstone
Collis
Arundal
Riley
Miller
Sammut
Scruton
Washbrook
D Smith
Lauitiiti
Crowther
Griffin
McShane
Simon
Hand
Trout

If Timmy's going to see a specialist, it looks doubtful for him next week.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Jarrud "Wally Lewis" Sammutt, I'm sure he will be able to defeat the Wigan outfit single handed!

| No one has said JS is the messiah but what he does offer is that something different which will keep the opposition guessing what he is gonna do next and create problems for them and space for others.
He is also no worse than miller in defence and deserves a chance based on recent performances. If he plays and loses us the game he will be no different to some of the players who have featured regularly and have contributed to us losing our last 4

| can only seeing us struggle until we get some bodies back, the more bodies we loose the more we will struggle. apart from saints any team with eight or ten out will loose games, the only thing we can do is just get behind and wait to see what's available week to week. JS want make much difference with all the injuries we have, lets hope some are back for the Catalan game which is winnable with bodies back

Agreed
Without a competitive pack, we aint going to win very often, regardless of who is playing at 6 & 7.
Although we have lost a couple of games that we might have won, we desperately need some power back in the pack.
Anderson is a massive loss for us and with Loopini also missing, we are a bit lightweight.
Having said that, we often come up with a surprise when we are written off.
A few seasons ago, in the 2009 season opener at Wigan, with a patched up squad (including hero of the day Dave Halley on loan from Bradford) we caused one hell of an upset.
Lets hope for the same again
It's worth reading the match report just to remind people why we support The Mighty Trin. Webster should give a copy to the players that turn out for us on Sunday.
We were missing both of our first choice half backs (Rooney and Brough), plus 6 others, what a magnificent result against all odds.

| We need to be supportive of all players wearing the Trinity shirt including Jarrod Sammut who is a very experienced SL player, we'll need that experience and him stepping up to the plate against Wigan.
To be honest though it's likely the Wigan juggernaut pack is going to run over the top of Trinity and give a real walloping (hope I'm wrong).
Good news prop Jordan Hand in the 17 against Wigan so hopefully he goes well... Plus Ian Kirke back in full training so may be in contention for a place on the bench against Catalan possibly?
No mention of Jon Molloy's ankle injury update? Could also do with his size and experience in back row with Kirmond and Ashurst out injured.

| What's wrong with Godinet? He played very well against us at Wakey last year and also played well for Samoa in the four nations.

| Godinet having another scan next week as the first wasn't good enough quality, could be for one of easter games if positive. Kirmond also hopefully available next week. Kirke still 2/3 weeks away, others longer. Tim Smith to see specialist to determine whether he can play again soon or needs an operation.

Owen
Johnstone
Collis
Arundel
Riley
Sammut
Hall
Scruton
Washbrook
D.smith
Griffin
Lauitiiti
Ryan
McShane
Hand
Simon
Crowther
That still doesn't look to bad a team even with 12 injured.
