I always admired him even at Leeds in his limited opportunities he took them and got on with it and never complained.All round good guy

Feel for Richie, he gave his all and thoroughly deserved a new deal. Him and Tautai will be missed in the offload department

We knew he was not being offered another contract so his departure was expected but not the timing. I would remind those in charge that selling and uncertainty do not help sell season tickets.

True but we've signed 3 so far and hopefully in the next month or so we'll see a few more quality signings. It's hard to say atm if letting guys like Richie go is the right thing to do or not, not until we've completed all the signings we need to for next season.

They have created their own catch 22 situation in that they need season ticket sales to help with team strengthening but many won't commit to buy one until they better understand the calibre of the team next season. We have currently confirmed that three will not be offered contracts, four are on loan, one is to retire and one has signed elsewhere. On the other side of the equation we have signed Hall from KR.

Season tickets go on sale 1st September (that's a little over a fortnight off still) and the early bird offer ins until 1st December.
Pointless blowing our load now as it will all be forgotten about come October.
