| I would have been, and am happy. We played with desire, effort, toughness and guts today. We had a game plan and stuck to it, we didn`t panic, we built pressure, we kept it simple. I thought it was a great game, played by to good teams. We both made a few errors in the second half but the line defence from both teams was great to watch. A draw was a fair result but if we play like we did today the team will get my support. A quality game.
What a change around Webster has achieved.

| A few weeks ago we would have grabbed the chance of 5 points from 6.

| So has Webster really changed much or was Richard Agar disliked by the players so much that he was the problem

| Kirmo mentioned last week that Webster had introduced more fun tasks into training. Apparently Kirmo had a few forfeits, reason for haircut. He also said they had more time with the conditioner.

| Was told today that Agar quit because the players weren't good enough and he had nothing to work with.
Utter BS as the last 3 games have proved. We should have won by 12-18 today but in the end a draw was fair.

| For me today was about which team did the basics right would get the result.
In the end probably a fair result.
Neither team dominated but it's fine lines between a win and whatever else.

| Both sides were fairly inept offensively and seemed to rely on mistakes to score, having said that defences seemed to be on top. Thought Trinity looked the more threatening but a draw was probably a fair result, however I would question whether their first conversion went over or if Owen actually put a foot in touch.
All in all it's a million times better than what's been on show for the majority of the season. Scruton was the stand out forward for me and Lyne went well too. A few walking wounded at the end so maybe some changes for this Friday.

Good point, we were absolutely convinced that the ball had gone under the crossbar, we were in the bar directly behind the sticks

And what about Sykes kick (2nd try I think) which the crowd and commentators thought had gone over but it was deemed outside the right hand post

Would that be the one where the inside touch judge didn't know what to do so looked to see what the other one was doing with his flag before waving it off??

| I saw that too, aren't the TJ's supposed to wave independently not look at each other for guidance?

It looked to av gon under from the north end of the eaststand but can't really comment on Owen try apart from using my Holiday rose tinted glasses

| To be honest I'm absolutely overjoyed with the progress we have made in the last 3 weeks. I have not been as despondent as I was after the inept performance at Odsal for a long time and the transformation in attitude and performance since Webster took over and Tim Smith returned has been fantastic.
If someone had told me after the Bradford game that we would pick up 5 points from our next 3 games I'd have wondered what they were on.
I thought we played well today against a very difficult defence to break down and I'm very happy with the point but at the same time a little disappointed that with 3 minutes on the clock and in posession in their 20 we were not smart enough to kill the game and hold out. I hope we will learn from it.
Overall happy with the way things are progressing and now looking forward to games.
