With the onset of the world cup,i was looking at the fixtures to see if they coincided with our games,and the affect
if any they could have on attendances.

As a season ticket holder i will be attending ALL TRINITY games,but could see pay on day/walk up having there heads turned!!

Fri 13/6 TRINITY V Spain v holland A stand out game,and repeat of last world cup final.

Sun 22/6 TRINITY V 5PM KO BELGIAM V RUSSIA so not too bad

Sun 29/6 TRINITY V 5PM KO last 16 game not involving ENGLAND,but a good game never the less.

Fri 4/7 TRINITY V possible ENGLAND qtr final game at 9pm!!!!! (can you imagine,v LEEDS and also ENGLAND in QTR'S)

THU 10/7 TRINITY V no games,(but we are on sky).





Anyway back to that brush and shaft!!!!!!!!

I have better things to do with my life than worry about that bunch of vastly over paid EDIT. They will be on the plane back out of Brazil after their group games.

Wakey gets my total priority.

Can't stand football at any level other than amateur, I won't be watching any games and hope its a wash out.

I'm really looking forward to it, won't be missing any rugby for it though and I think we're pretty safe with the quarter final, if not I will be at the rugby with earplugs in and watch the footy when I get in.

Flaming World Cup plays havoc with my Quiz Nights and gigs, it takes over just about every pub in the land, a right pain in the 'arriss. Can't understand why they drape flags over themselves and paint their faces, they ought to know by now England ain't got a chance.

Cant wait, i love the world cup it takes me right back to watching games when i was a young kid.
I'm smart enough to differentiate between hard grafting RL players and posing over paid footballers so i can justify it.

For the most part in my 40 years of watching my home city team they have given their all and countless amounts of pleasure to me, my Dad and more recently my boy. We might not have a chance of winning Super League but as long as they keep competing and occasionally punch above their weight then that'll do for me. Englands over rated bunch have done nothing in my lifetime despite dominating the game in European club football for many years and flatter to deceive every 2 years when the big tournaments come around. So there you have it Pop Tart I wouldn't might as well say why do we turn up for Wakefield, totally different imo.

Last time I properly enjoyed international football was the 90's; I don't know if it's because I was younger, but those players seemed to give a damn about playing for England and looked to be putting in a bit of effort.

I'll graze on World Cup coverage, but I won't plan my life around it.

love football but love RL more, don't see why you can't enjoy both.

Must admit though I am a football MOD highlights kind of guy, struggle with the full 90 minutes.

I'll watch games if they fit my shifts as I like sport in general.Never been too keen on Internationals,watching Hudds Town for the last god knows how many years,as been enough for me.Maybe past the group stages is the best we can hope for,but it will never match a Rugby league game....whatever level of football.
