What will it take to sack Agar? Two heavy losses to Leeds next week and Cas the week after? Surely today must act as a means to get rid.

Keeping Agar will undo all the hard work you and others have done over the past 6 months

MC now needs to show that he is a decisive leader. He has three options :-
1. Follow the example of the Catalans Chairman who backed his coach, spoke with all the players and got rid of the bad apples, laying down the law and insisted on massive improvement in attitude, desire etc etc.

2.Sack Agar, give the riot act to the players and let them know that their poor attitude etc has cost RA his job and demand a response from them. Replace Agar with a no nonsense, strick young coach say someone like Mark Aston , Karl Harrison etc, A player who will stop poncing about thinking we are a top 8 side and knukle down for a relgation fight.

3. Do nothing.

I think that having been hammered two weeks on the trot that we need to act, I would go for option 2. Feel sorry for MC as its not a position any of us would want to be in. One thing is for certain : option 3 is not an option

The current problem could and probably will reach further than fan frustration and lack of them turning up.

One thing for sure is Carter doesn't deserve the 'efforts' he is getting at the minute. Whatever the underlying reason for it is it needs to be rooted out and acted upon before it's too late. If that means getting shut of Agar so be it. And if Kath Hetherington takes her bat & ball home then so be it, the chairman cannot be held to ransom.

As for new coach, Matthew Elliott is about to become available by the sounds of it.

Glenn Morrison with a short coaching career and no SL coaching experience. The others will just be the usual suspects or a reserve grade NRL coach. I would expect it would follow the same pattern, you will be pronouncing him to be the best thing since sliced bread, we lose a game and you will all be back on again demanding his removal.
We must have the most expectant supporters of any club. I have to put up with at every home game two particular morons whose spend the entire game demanding that every player should be taken off if they make a mistake. Their second party piece is to either demand that a player both tackles the legs and stops the off load or vice versa.
I notice today that one rather vocal supporter who spent the entire game slagging off the players. He was very brave until he failed to gather any support and disappeared at half time in an attempt to find some like minded supporters I expect. It may be a good idea for some of you to gather together and then moan about Agar to your hearts content because I doubt our chairman will or should be listening to the views of a few on the forum.

Shane Flanagan please, but back in the real world I doubt the club could afford any severance pay for Agar, let alone another large salary for a new coach.

MC is the bloke I feel sorry for just imagine we as fans are sickened of the inept displays how must MC feel after all the hard work he has done.He will probably stick with Agar and we will get another roasting next Friday and the game after that and the one after that.

I wouldn't pay Mark Aston in rusty washers, leave him where he's happy and at a level he's OK at.

Sorry but I don't buy this 'no SL coaching experience'. He's got more SL coaching experience than Agar in that he's actually played a good few years of SL at the coal face and knows what it's all about. Add to that the fact he's a highly respected figure in the game and you have a worthy contender.

Aston deserves a chance in superleague, what he's done for sheffield to make them a success is exceptional.

Agar has several seasons of superleague underachievement with two separate clubs on his cv. Is that any better than a guy that hasn't had his chance yet?

FWIW i feel it could just be a touch too early for Glenn yet, he maybe needs another 12-18 months before he gets his shot. Maybe Noble fancies a chance to prove Koucash wrong in the meantime?

Very similar to Powell, no nonsense, good structures in place.

We need a coach that has the respect of the dressing room, and at the moment We don't we have that.
