Please follow the link above to find out details of how the clubs lottery has been made even easier and cheaper to join! We have been working with the club for a long period building up this as clearly this has benefits for all of us.

For the club it has the potential to make it easier to recruit new people into the system. Those put off by £2 a week may not flinch at £1.00 a week - what does £1 buy you (no references to Pound Shops required).

For the fans it will hopefully strengthen the clubs ability to recruit and retain the best young local talent around - there is little coincidence that this is launched on the day Jordan's new contact is signed!

For the Supporter Trust, well we agreed a long time ago that we could use this as a way to getting someone on the BoD. The original figure of an extra 1,000 members was the key, which has now become 2,000 at the lower level, but there are more that number attending matches at Belle Vue - so some of us aren't in - yet!

We hope that you will all back us - if you're a member and feeling flush, give yourself an extra chance to win and take another line out. If you're not a member yet, follow the link and sign up on line. Whatever your situation, most can afford £1 a week - it's a bar of chocolate; not even half a pint; 4 ciggies; 1L of milk if you're lucky or £1 of crap from a Pound Shop!!!

That would be counter-productive! Those on £2 a week will have their chances doubled, unless they notify that they do not wish so. Hopefully, not many will do that and most will remain on the £2 level.

Fair enough. Was just wondering as I've either missed it or not seen it mentioned.

Hopefully some of the lads who come through the system get a decent chance in the future rather than fringe players from other clubs being favoured over them.

If you didn't receive it at all, that's probably because your email address was never entered on to the system in the first place.
