Ridiculous decision. Will save me a fortune though as i won't be spending a dime on such a convoluted crock of crap. Best try and enjoy my last season.

Each to there own but at least every game is important now right to the end in S/L this season and in all competitions from 2015

You don't see the PL using this system. I agree that some form of promotion/relegation should be implemented, but this way is too complicated and will put off fans, costing the club and other clubs as well.

This will have a huge effect on season tickets imo.

How will it, i f you get off to a bad start in SL and are struggling . Then it becomes a case of waiting to see who you play from SL2 when the 3x8 begins. Like someone else said there's no difference inbetween finishing 9th or 12th.

Peronally if they had to change I would have left it 14 teams with one up, one down and then looked into finer detais like parachute payments and newcomer to SL being exempt from relegatio for a year.

this is what i have just said on facebook, how on earth can you sell season tickets when your not even guarantee to know which teams are going to be in your group!
bottom 4 of superleague to play top four of championship! so then will the bottom 4 stay fulltime or go part time and vice versa for the championship sides! clubs are struggling now so i can only see more teams struggling financially with this set up!

The season ticket will be for all S/L games the split doesn't happen untill end of season

So if you start 2015 in the Championship you'll have considerably less TV money and be running mostly a part time team. To gain promotion you would have to get the better of the 4 weaker SL teams. If thats the case you've effectively got rid of P&R because the Championship teams will never cut the grade. The consequences off finishing in the bottom 2 this year is not worth thinking off.

Does this mean that Sky will be getting their hands on the Championship from next year. Two networks covering this could proove difficult to come to an agreement over rights. Unless RFL are wanting a bidding War.

The big question now is how is sky money going to be distributed in 2015 the salary cap for championship is going up to 700 000 from the 300 000 it is now I am led to believe regarding Premier Sports don't think they will get into a bidding war championship get nothing off them now

May as well play the u19s for the first 22 rounds then and save the first team til after the split
