Am I the only one who would rather aee the Supporters Trust run this great club than a person who supposedly was treasurer under AG but had no idea where the money was going and who was owed what ? I am sorry but all he has done since he took over is talked about honesty, something always in short supply under the present and previous regimes and dismantled thr team. I am not critiscing him for getting selling overseas players we cannot afford but for failing to sign up our own products Kay, Cowling, Wilde, Maskill etc .
I would rather see MC and AG take their so called business skills and money elsewhere. If that means liquidation and demotion to the championship so be it. I would rather see The supporter trust overseing and experienced trustwothy CEO wish a team of Wakefield lads giving their all for the shirt than a team of cast offs, loan players and third rate players who have to start every sentence with "mate. . .". lose 6And as for Newmarket if it ever gets built, I will be using a mobility scooter by then and the battery wont make it that far so good riddance to business men, forget Newmarket long live Trinity, long live Belle Vue lets trust in the people who care about rugby league in Wakefield both amateurs, semi professional and professional.

The st having a say in running the club would work but not actually running it we are not Barcelona. I think MC will sort us out and attract investment as for Newmarket it's our only option as far as I can see.

The club is in an extremely precarious position. Whilst best interests would definitely be at heart, I'd be more worried if my club's immediate future was in the hands of a rookie who is compromised by fanatics...

I have question marks how the last owner got away with what happened for so long. How can Elston be paying a cheerleading wife 50k a year and 200 quid + on match days. MC was an accountant and being on the board he must have been walking around blindfolded but what could he have done? Ring the police there is a robbery taking place? Fair play to MC taking us on. It is good he is honest but at the same time the fans deserve some light at the end of the tunnell having the amount of crap we have put up with year on year. Our gates are still excellent after what we have been through. It sounds like reach 400,000 thousand or else or reach 3 thou members or else. Many fans have probably had enough we need some TLC Mr Carter not we need this and that. The last regime run riot and you were on the board the fans have done Jack 'the next word begins with S' wrong. One thing MR Glover did well was advertisement and merchandising that is one main thing we can take from his reign. What happened with the money is another question but he did do that part well.

In fairness I could do a lot of things well, if I didn't have to pay for them! And I'm not sure, and can't be bothered checking, but I don't think I've ever blamed the fans. I said words to the effect of, revenue will equal expenditure, and the club will therefore find it's natural level, without the help of a benefactor.

I appreciate your honesty and it makes a fair change but we also need some good marketing to get people onside again, and some positivity.
