I have just finished reading the book about the waterspash final , it is a great read with memories of the final build up and game from players from both sides as well as stories from supporters of that great game, I was shocked to find out john n Wendy that I stood near for years had there son Michael on final day and john represented gb at running!! this book s highly recommended for all Wakefield fans and dare I say Leeds fans would find it interesting too, in fact rugby fans in general this book is a fantastic in sight to one of the most iconic games in challenge cup history, well worth a read

I have the book but have not had time to read it yet, i'm half way through another book and can't put it down

Iv read it. Never watched wakefield at wembley. Not old enough, but I imagine the cup isnt what it used to be any more. Trains specifically for the fans, fans going down with no idea how they would get home. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend the book to all wakefield fans

I not sure it is sold in shop tbh I got mine from waterstones in ridings centre , I would highly recommend this book as I too haven't been fortunate to see wakefield at Wembley and real steel is right the cup hasn't got magic of yester year but to me still would be fab to see us in the final

I was in two weeks ago buying lego for little KC.

I thought the bit about why Neil Fox wasn't playing was very interesting.
How life could have been different if not for that decision.

yes I thought that too pop tart making him play game before when he knew he wouldn't be fit enough was madness, and ultimately he missed final and great Britain tour too, can't help thinking if neil fox had played things would have been different but who knows!!

its moving to the old HMV site , not sure when or if its there already. Excellent book, shows just why Wakey fans think Loiners always get the lucky calls against us.
