| C'mon folks, people are getting completely carried away on a tide of emotion here. I've got 38 years on the teraaces invested in wakefield, I've seen bad times, I;ve seen worse times, Pearman nearly took us to the wall, but we came back.
People keep saying what they have lost and how much of a tragedy this is, accusations and counter claims are flying around left right and centre, people demanding answers etc,
What i will say (i cant speak for others ) is I have lost nothing of any real consequence, a little faith in the people that run the club, but nothing else. No money, no shares, no limbs, no bodily fluids, nothing, nada, nil, zilch, nowt, bugger all.. you get the picture, And i would venture to say neither has anyone else on here. So lets take 5 and breathe... step back and look at what it REALLY means to you. Don't get me wrong, i think its sad that we are in this position, but up to two weeks ago my job was at risk of redundancy, now that was a worry. My son battles daily with a life threatening condition, now that's a worry. Wakefield surving yet another financial / boardroom crisis is sad, a tad annoying even, but c'mon people GET REAL.
Sorry if that offends anyone, but I do think some need a reality check.

| I would agree in general as I haven't lost anything either....though I have already got my ticket for next season but unfortunately this is an emotive issue for most people.
As you say most haven't lost in monetary terms but that does not make it hurt less.
Some are bothered because they believed what was being said and now feel let down now that the news has come out.
This absolutely doesn't compare to a terminal illness or the trouble in Syria but the issue shouldn't be trivialized. It is an important part of a lot of lives and we'd like to know what the future holds. I don't think that is unrealistic.
I'd also say that on the whole we have kept the emotions under control on here. A lot of agreement and understanding of each other's points, and we seem to be handling the outsiders quite well too. That could have decended into a round of pathetic bickering.
The only thing I'd say is Elston is an issue that a lot of people have strong opinions on when we don't know all the facts. Opinion is of course fine but I hope we don't round on the guy too much and then find later he was just doing his best and others had a hand in this too.
