Didn't realise Agar picked the Shudds team. Let me see Lunt and also Robinson to interchange. Can see wood fitting in but yet again only as a bit part. Best I have seen of wood has always been from bench running at tired bodies and also defending against weakened opposition too.

As for Wood, he's not done bad and he may go on to do well, but I don't think too many will truly miss him. Reading between the lines in the Express seems to suggest he'd already made his mind up, and we only valued him so far; reasonable business when we don't have Davey's moneybags to throw around.

Kyle has his critics and every body has a right to their opinion but I think he is a good player for Wakey and as been very efective of the bench,any body who makes Tomkins look daft will do for me.I personally think if he does go to Shudds it's our loss and Shudds gain and will come back to haunt us in the future.Whatever he decides I wish him well.

Had a number of chances starting at halfback and only really shown up vs Wigan. Rest of time he struggled in the halfs.

He also leaks yards in defence which makes him a constant target for opposition forwards.

Unfortunately despite plenty of opportunity hasn't really shown enough this year in my opinion. Probably best he moves on for all concerned.

There appears to be something of a good player in him somewhere but it hasn't shown enough and maybe another hudds can bring a little more out of him.

Not a huge loss, but wish him well. Always appears to give effort so can't knock him too much more.

I think he's done OK as sub hooker, generally been disappointed when he has stepped into the halfback role (barring the odd game).
It's been proved before that we are looking for value from our squad and if he has valued his contribution higher than Agar has then letting him go is the only option.

Dont get me wrong, if we have the chance to keep him then fair doos, but he did similar last time he went to Shudds, Snooped us for them and didnt get anywhere.
I agree with the above, use Wildie and only use Wood when desperate.

Apparantly as it reads on BBC Sport, he is now refusing to hold any further contract talks with us, so IMO the sooner he goes the better, as cant be doing anything for Team moral.

Im sure he has something in him to be a good player but you would think he has less chance of first team action at shudds.Agree if he wont talk about staying and wants to be off then keep playing Wildie who then gets the chance to show hes well worth another contract.Only play Wood if its a last choice and no one else available.

If he has made his intentions clear about leaving, then don`t let him be involved with the 1st team, he would`nt be up for the fight if we got involved in a scrap, he may be thinking about being injury free for shudds.
We ended up having that problem with both Griffins signing for other clubs before the end of season.

Hmm. It was hardly making Tomkins look daft. If anything Wood made the players in the Wigan line look daft and he simply had the pace to get to the try line. But I can tell that you obviously had a huge amount of dislike for Tomkins... so whatever helps you sleep.

Spot on he stepped and dummied someone in the Wigan line. By time he was through there wasn't many yards left for Tomkins to catch him. Couldn't blame Tomkins for that. Wood has been to inconstant for me and we need the tackling shared out more.

Poor today other than his try did nothing other than slow the attack down and take the wrong option. I certainly would not want him as a starting half back based on what I have seen him produce for us
