Nah its a leeds player's god given right to ref, so Peacock or Burrow will step up.

I reckon Sinfield makes his return vs us on the 26th July, and will miss our fixture with them the week before. Stands to reason that they'll get some players back in the next month.

Sinfield having op Tuesday and will be six weeks out. That takes him to 30th of July after our games. Think they may risk him tonight and strap him up and give him an injection. If Leeds don't win tonight then they may not win another game for over a month. They could be easily dragged into the race for last playoff spot or drop out all together.

Now that would be good.

Make no mistake about it, even with injuries, Leeds are still a good good side. In the last 2 weeks, they've lost Bailey & Sinfield to add to their mounting injury list but welcome back Peacock & Jones Bishop. They will not drop down out of the 8 or even close.

And now there's talk of Bailey going to the NRL, with the Aus media quoting the examples of Graham and the Burgii; if any NRL club expects Bailey to have the same impact as the aforementioned, they'll be deeply disappointed.

Back on topic, I agree with Towns - write off Leeds at your peril.

Is Steven Ward injured? I'd have expected him to replace Sinfield. He's more than capable.

Yes mate, done his shoulder. Teams like Leeds & Wigan, even with 6,7,8 out injured, have the depth, have the quality and quantity in youth and squad players to step in and replace missing first teamers.

Its been a cracking first half, Widnes just won't go away.

Tonight is a perfect opportunity for Gareth Hock to have a stormer, but seems quite happy to wander about on the fringes. Good statement about him going to Parra next year from McRae.

I get the feeling he's not a member of Hock's fan club.

As much as I dislike Leeds, I want them to win this so Widnes do not overtake us in the league table.

Look at the bigger picture. If Leeds don't win tonight they may not win for 5 or 6 weeks. That could put another playoff place up for grabs. They have 2 hard games before us in Shudds and Warrington away.

Leeds could have an injury list as long as Koukash's wanted list and they'd still give any team in Super League a tough game. The kids they bring in have more than enough ability to just slot in and carry on regardless.

Disagree with this. Leeds played on form the easiest team in the league at home. Even Salford beat them in the last month. Hopefully if a similar team we face in a month I would be confident of winning both fixtures.
