Please be Castleford, we can find better than him! But if we do sign him woulden't be so bad I guess to replace Kyle Wood.

Think Murrell is a decent player and can cover 6,9 and 13. Has a tidy short kicking game, and doesn't shirk in the tackle. If Wood is off to Hudds, think it will be a good signing.

Could be a solid adition with good utility value.

If he joins then lets give him a chance eh

He's been outstanding for Fax. Taking aside the fact he's playing in an inferior league you can still tell he's a class player. THE stand out player so far this season.

Twitter is getting worse than Dave Parker for rumors.

Still nothing on Murrell, It could just be one big twitter wind up by the players themselves. Fax have some kind of big announcement tonight at 7.00 o'clock so maybe we will all be told then.

Its something to do with the ownership of the Shay and/or could involve a share issue for the fans - that would be my guess.

They could have signed semi tadulala or pay two quid a week in to a lottery? That's always what we consider a big announcement

Depends which way you look at it. Maybe some fans feel that Wakey should be aiming higher so in that sense him not signing for you is a plus but on the flip side a player who a few dont think is good enough and plays in the Championship turned down Wakeys offer to stay at the level he is at. That would worry me.

Or has he got a job away from rugby and doesn't want to give that up for a two year contract?
Or maybe he just lacks ambition?

Why should we worry when we have acquired two quality players in Tautai and Tuson? Murrell wouldn't take us any further, glad he didn't sign.

OR a player who isnt really good enough stays at a level he is comfortable playing rather than out of his depth in super league?

Or a player who is isn't prepared to take a short contract to prove himself because deep down, as he has proved before, at superleague he just isn't good enough and a lower league club like Halifax for the next four years is more his level.

Or a player who savvy enough to realise that a four year contract with a team that seems to be on a reasonably stable financial footing offers a level of job security that is not to be sniffed at in such a short lived profession.

Or a player ........................... etc etc.

We (apparently) made him an offer he could refuse - whatever his reasons good luck to him.

Regardless of which side of the fence one sits on it seems everyone's happy with this outcome.

Good glad not signed for Trinity as he's not a Super League standard player and wouldn't improve the team.
