I have a copy you can have, I made it earlier this year for somebody who never got back to me. The Grand Final game against Featherstone that got us into Super League is on the same disc.I live in Ossett so pm me. Will cost you a pint !!

I keep saying the club should have copies of these big games on sale in the shop as there always seems to be interest!

Because these are games that never are forgotten by the people who witnessed it. I would love the club to sell the game and because of such interest and people wanting to re-live the memories they'd bring in abit of dosh.

I agree, if the club could get hold of some old games they could make a handy profit out of it.

There must be more to it, there have been a few threads requesting them to sell these games.

The million pound game will be SKY so maybe that's why it isn't straight forward.

I have loads of games and clips going right back to the 80s but all on video. Whenever we were on the box I would record the game. All the Scrumdown games on ITV, news items on Calendar, BBC Challenge Cup matches and all the Sky appearances since we came into Super League. I bet I could make a small fortune lol if only I could convert them all to modern day technology

The club sold copies at the time from it's own camera I'm sure. That, and you can buy Hull KR game from this season which was also on Sky.

You can get them I buy all i can from Cas, last season it was £7,99 this season their £9,99 i think their from, Micron video publications, but to be honest I'm happy to forget the million pound game.

I looked on their site after a similar thread was started last season, I couldn't find it though

It was a very good game but the start of the woes, .. for a Cas fan it was heart breaking.

I am sure it was heartbreaking and IMHO Cas's present troubled situation can probably be traced back to losing that game. If we had lost I suspect we wouldn't even exist anymore because our finances were more fragile than those of Cas. and, in those days, our fan base was much smaller.

It was a good game though; I was there and haven't seen a recording; would love to see it again.

I remember calling the club on the Monday after the Fev match asking if I could get a copy of it. The club told me then that Sky held the rights so they couldn't sell it to me. I don't know if that is still the case but that was the explanation I was given all those years ago (was it 15!).
