| Thought Paul Aiton fully deserved his award yesterday. Outstanding performance throughout the game.
Close on his heels must've been Foxy. Both his tries needed some scoring and his work rate taking the ball in from taps was top notch. Some heavy collisions when being met by the Wire pack and he never lost the ball once!

| Paul Aiton did 80 minutes yesterday, 40 plus tackles and ended up at loose forward for remaining 20 minutes. Truly remarkable.

| Aiton is a machine; I thought he had one of his best games for us yesterday - it seems that he's been given a bit more freedom to run from DH and although he ended up in a blind alley a couple of times, I'd rather he tried it than not.
One of the late Wire tries went through him I think, but after 80 mins and another monster tackling shift, I guess that's on the cards.
He's class.

| Yeh, but not good enough for the bring back Ellis brigade, who noticeably keep quiet about the outstanding aspects of Aiton's play.

| Id like them both here to be honest. Aiton was great yesterday, but you cant expect him to do that every week and still be fit come the end of the season!

| he was good for you yesterday - for me, the reason you scored 34 points was because when you got a roll on, Aiton was scooting from the next tackle to keep up the metre-gain. Which led to you catching Wire stood on there own line 3(?) times. At least twice anyway.

Isn't that the truth.

For me it's never been about the ability of Aiton, who is an outstanding player, it’s the sharpness of Ellis' passing from dummy half which gives Smith that extra time to set up the attack. Ideally I would’ve liked both to be the interchanging hookers this year, unfortunately this wasn’t to be. I was very pleased with Aiton performance, he went forward with the ball and was and just short of stretching out for a try which possibly could've swung the game Trinity’s’ way.

| When the commentator shouts "Aiton dives for the line - he's short!" I don't know if they're describing the action or just making an observation.

| There were some top performances yesterday.
Aiton deserved his MOM but, notable mentions for Cockayne, Fox, L. Smith and Amor, who was excellent.
Sykes would have been up there as well if he could judge a swirling wind with his touch finders.

I thought he had a decent game yesterday but I've seen a few posts lamenting his form. With Poore suspended, Raleigh lacking match fitness and Wilkes not in his best form, he lead the pack pretty well. Yes he knocked on at a crucial time but that shouldn’t detract from his overall performance.

He more than matched any of the Wire forwards, including Englands newest recruit and if our other forwards had been up to the same mark, we would have won the game.
Much as Gareth Ellis did/does, Amor always gets his head through the line. If he gleans some help from Ali, about an offload game, he will be some player.

| He had a good game yesterday and deserved MoM in my opinion. A better approach to defence and the game could have been so much different.

| Cockayne was my MOM , I thought he caused Warrington the most problems for the full 80 min
Aiton had a great second half ,but was quiet in the first.
