Poore does lead with arm. Farrells reaction is to drop on him, give a bit of a kick and then to flap at his face with a sort of punch. Why no whistle from ref ? Answer...because it's bloody Hicks and he is useless. Whistle might have brought both of them to their senses and both might have calmed down. Instead Poore rightly so retaliates with one heck of a punch.

Outcome - Farrell got his just desserts, apparently knocked out cold.
Poore sent off
No further action necessary.

Advice to RFL - suspend Hicks for ten matches and during that time make him actually play a few games, preferably with Poore playing on the other side and allow the said Aussie free reign to smack him in the gob each time he gets hold of him. When Hicks is taken from the field because he cannot stand up any longer allow him to be replaced with Alibert and when he leaves the field Mr Childs can enter the fray. At no point during the game must Poore be penalised for doing clearly what he does best.

If anybody has any other suggestions/thoughts/ideas I will be quite happy to forward them on to the RFL.

I have to say that Poores reaction was very unprofessional but it was good punch

I like a prop who will have a go, trouble is so do the team your playing. Feel sure it will not be the last time Poore gets his marching orders. I remeber John Burke at Fartown, he didnt get sent off but was taken off.

I thought it was instigated on the floor watched the video on youtube and wakeys highlights. Farrell drops the knee to poore head. When they get up a shove each then a good shot on Farrell. I reckon Justin will get 1 match and farrell will get nothing. Ten mins would have been more appropriate tbh.

Watched it on the super league show. Clearly shows Farrell deliberately dropping the knee on Poores head while he is on the ground and unable to move. Totaly agree with Nobles reading of the incident - started by farrell both should have got 10 mins in the bin, get on with it.

Brilliant punch though.

Ref should have blown for the penalty as soon as he saw it. He obviously awarded it for what happened before the punch. He made a right balls up of the whole situation.
