One flag waver had his flag up, one down. From behind the posts I thought it was just ok. Paul Sykes drop goal? not so sure...

It looked to miss by a mile from where i was. Alibert was his usual useless self all game.

Had a decent view of it from where I was stood and it was never over & thought it was pretty straight forward call to make tbh

Ref had a howler again, Alibert is not fit for purpose and should be stripped of his refs badge on Monday morning.

I was standing in a direct line with kicker, right hand upright and me. Looked as if it was going over then at last minute veered away on a gust of wind. I and everyone around couldn't believe it when it was given!

definetly not i had a good view it hit the moulded peice of wood at the top of the post and bounced out.but the touch judjes are as much to blame,but we were gash

There was nowt wrong with the drop goal. Stood perfectly in line of it

I couldn't really say either way about their kick but Sykes's drop goal looked fine to me.

I was just to the right of the uprights and it looked out to me.
That decision didn't cost us the point though and in fairness Salford deserved at least a point if not both. Sorry but the writing was on the wall what to expect from them and they didn't dissappoint!

100% correct sandcat..I must have been just to your right..Halibut and the Ginger Ninja linesman both took their eyes off it at the last second, and it was then that it was blown off course...however, did we deserve to win/Salford deserve to lose....NO !!!.....fair result in my book.

Sykes's drop goal was fine. Just took an age to land.

As for the Salford goal, it was crucial as it was after the hooter and so didn't affect the next play. Over or not, the players were heading down the tunnel straight afterwards. And not over and we win the game.

Agree. What also annoyed me was when Mathers was fouled and could've scored a try and Aiton being obstructed as well, and no penalty given! Also at the kick off when the touch judge (same one at hudds game) gave a forward pass!

I'd forgotten about that! I didn't think he would have got there but we should have at least got a penalty and had one man up for 10 minutes!

Don't forget Aiton being blatantly dragged back by the jumper when running for the loose ball; everyone saw it, apart from Mr Alibert and both his touchies.

Watched it frame by on superleague fulltime. At no point is the view of the ball obstructed by the left hand post, it is in full view at all times, thus it missed. Incompetence reigns strong in the land of officialdom.

It missed and it cost Trinity the win, not that they deserved it.

As for the ref, he was poor but there were 15 or so professionals on the pitch who were worse than him.

Didnt think it had gone over nor did I think Sykes drop had.Blatant holding Aiton back.Saying all that some of the players thought Salford would be easy meat and fold in the second half.I dont think we even deserved a point out of that game to be honest the way most of the players went about it.

What a horrible game of Rugby League, played by 2 very average sides.

Never thought i would say this, but id rather have stayed at home with the Mother in law.

Our tackling and line speed were shocking, fair play to Salford, they defended reasonably well in the 2nd half, but we didnt really ask many questions. 2hrs of my life i will never get back. Garbage!
