| Didn't get down to the London game, but just watching the highlights and he looks like he was a real handful. Quick, strong, good handling skills. He was excellent vs KR as well - no coincidence that BC is scoring for fun with Reece and Ali inside him, looks like we could have signed a gem!
Don't think he'll be on a massive packet either.

Made a thread like this a month or two ago. Many people said they hadn't seen enough of him to judge him.. I think he has bags of potential and can be just as good as Watkins if he keeps it up. Being only 20 and I think if he keeps it up he'll keep L. Smith out the starting line up (Deserves it after recent performances), so he'll have plenty of game time this season to improve his game even more!

Collis is going well down the right hand side as well and set up a couple of tries at the weekend, one with fast hands and the other with a smart inside ball.
Lyne looks to have very good feet and a step.
Lee Smith & Vince Mellors may well struggle to get a starting spot.

Its nice to see the team working so well. I think Collis is quality and after a injury free season we will see him improve and get better and better (the whole team will)

| I always liked what I saw when he played at Hull. However I think what he has produced this season is far more than we all expected and he looks like a very shrewd signing. To think Hull replaced him with Arundel who has now been shipped out to york .
Also as posted before I can't see how either Smith or Mellars can lay claim to his centre spot on current form.

| Nice to have four centres isn't it?
All of them are at least competent.
Plus the lads out on dual reg.

| I didn't see the pre season games but have watched him since.
I don't think he will be a Watkins but that's not to say he won't be good. He is a different kind of player to me.
I like him.
He has pace and a better pair of hands than I thought he would have.
I haven't seen him weak in defense but that will be tested against Huddersfield so we'll see.
He didn't particularly shine against Bradford but then neither did anyone else and if you don't get the ball what can you do.
What I will say is that I hope we leave him in the centres. He is one of those players that could be moved to wing or full back but I think he needs to be kept in one place to mature.

| Not sure about a Watkins, but he has certainly shown enough so far to suggest he could become a Super League regular in the years to come.
In the same way its too early to be writing players off (ie after the Bradford game!) its also a bit too early to be bigging them up, but he has started well. Be interesting to see how he goes this week against a good strong Huddersfield side.

| Its nice to have the competition for a starting spot and who evers in has to put the effort in and who evers out has to push to get the spot back. Its also nice to know that if we get an injury at full back, wing or centre that quality cover is available.

| I like the way he hits the line - he has that high-stepping running style that suggests he's looking to bust all the time, rather than submit to the tackle; it's come off for him a few times and if he continues to develop in strength and confidence, he could become a real weapon in attack.
Very early doors but on present form, I couldn't see Mellars displacing him. Smith is a bit of a different story - he's an experienced player and reads the game really well.
At present, we have 3 top quality choices at centre in Collis, who is outstanding and will get better, Smith and Lyne. Nice place to be.

| Ben and Reece,Collis and Fox are a real treat to watch this season, compliment each other well and will always score tries against any opposition.Long may it continue. Little off post but credit to Foxy at London for joining in the banter with the Wakey fans.

Be interesting to see Uncle Ken on the doorstep with his chequebook again if he does go well. Hopefully we would tell him where to stick his chequebook if that happened now!

True the end of the season is the only time to judge a player - however I don't think there is anything wrong with making a "so far" judgement do you?

| This lad seems to have that little bit extra which suggests that he is going to make the grade.
Agar obviously feels the same way too.
Having spent many years coaching at Under 16 level and scouting for local clubs I can tell you that you do not always have to watch some players over and over again.
To me he has already shown more than some players we had on the books for some considerable time.
Players people demanded to be given a chance , who quite frankly were never going to be anything but championship standard.

| After 3 rounds of SL, Reece Lyne is equal 2nd for try assists, along with Mathers and several others. He and Mathers are also joint 4th for tackle busts, with Foxy a few places behind them.
The stats actually make interesting reading - WTW players feature in the top 10 in most categories, with Ben Cockayne top of the meters gained table and shariing top try-scorer with Brett Kearney. He is also 2nd in the clean breaks table, ironically to Sammut, who's numbers will be inflated after we gave him a free pass in the season opener to do what he wanted.
Aiton, Washy and Kirmond all feature in the top 10 tacklers. Unsurprisingly, Big Ali is currently SL's top off-loader.
