Now that the RFL have confirmed that the Bull are to stay in Superleague , does that mean Paul Sykes goes back to Bradford ?

I think if depends on if he chooses to sign for the new company. I'd guess they won't be offering him the same money so imo we're in the driving seat.

Seeing as though they have had some of next years SL money already I think money will be tight next year at the Bulls.
Players don't have to sign with the new club and as the turmoil has caused difficulties in us making the loan deal permanent, now it's all sorted things will hopefully be simpler.

Also, it will depend here he features in their new coaches plans.
If some of their big names leave, which seems to be very likely, they may be looking to keep some experience, which could include Sykes.
However, if the guy has any personal choice, you would hope that he would want to play for a club that is going places and that gave him an opportunity
to play in SL this season.

I wonder if he has the option to refuse the TUPE transfer, like Kopczak did?

If so, that would make it easier for us to sign him, as there'd be no fee.

Quite a strange one really,if he is out of contract or declines the Tupe its quite possible the dreaded agent could say "well there's no fee involved so let's bang a few quid on the salary demand". Then it's all down to what our structure will allow and how much we want/need to keep him. May well be some hard negotiations to be done but for first time in a long time I'm pretty confident we have the right people to do this.

I'm guessing he probably could but if he is on the sort of money that is rumoured at the Bulls he might not see that in his best interests? Unless of course he receives a similar offer from Wakefield, but if he is among the top earners at Bradford then that is perhaps unlikely?

Bradford will see a massive overhaul of playing staff. I can't imagine the new owner continuing to lose in excess of 100k a month. So with that in mind Sykes might be a player they'd like to offload bearing in mind his wage.

I don't think there is much doubting that. But I imagine Sykes will either want compensation from Braford or Wakefield to get very close to matching his current salary.
