I don't want to pre-empt what may or may not happen on Saturday, but let's just say we did make the play-offs, who should we fear?

Whilst I'm not a sports psychologist, if I was part of the coaching staff I would try to play on the following in our favour. And to maintain our confidence which we have found over the last two months:-

We have beaten every team in the league this season with the exception of Bradford, Warrington and Wigan.

If we make the play-offs then Bradford will not be a potential opposition. Theoretically we should have beaten Warrington had it not been for the 7th tackle issue, as a result we owe them one!

As for Wigan, they are arguably the best side in the northern hemisphere at the moment. However this season they have been prone to the occassional off day and with a good start we could rock their confidence.

Sell this to the players then I ask again, who should we fear?

Leeds. Yes they were poor in the Challenge Cup Final but they usually put in big performances when they need to

we shouldn't fear anyone, we have got nothing to lose.

the only team we should be thinking about at the moment is Salford though.

Fear is the wrong word. We of course shouldn't fear anyone.

Who should we be concerend about? All of them. We have proved we can beat them but equally we have proved that unless we are on our game we can get a spanking too.

What we should fear is settling for less than we can achieve.
There is a danger of getting to the playoffs and celebrating a win. If we win on Saturday, all we have done is opened the door. Unless we play like we can, Leeds will send us back home with our tail wagging low.

Our advantage is that we have been in playoff rugby for the last few weeks as we are only there becuase we are winning each game. One loss and we were 9th or less. Lets just keep going until someone takes it away from us.

Beating either of top two would be a shock but anyone else wouldn't be shocked if we won. If we do finish in eighth place and it's against Leeds we will kick off Saturday night at 8.15.

How do know this?

Hope this is true. 8.15pm on a Sat night is perfect for me!

Hope not. Would struggle to get there for this and would also struggle to watch it on Sky!

There is nothing to fear but fear itself.
We have nothing to lose, where as our "big gun" opposition have everything to lose.
We have played six play off games on the trot, all games we have needed to win and we have won them all, of course we still have one more hurdle in front of us on Saturday..
We are the form team and yet we are still the underdog as far as the play offs is concerned, so jump on board the trinity jugonaut and see what happens!!

I fear Bradford, because a win for them will make us twitchy, and last Sunday shows what twitchy means. Salford can be good when they want to be.

The only thing I fear is missing out on the play offs. Lets re-open this thread on Sunday morning IF we make it.

for my money Leeds and it will be no shock if they win it come October they have the beating of Wigan and St Helens wont want to play Leeds Catalan are a dark horse but for my money Leeds to win it

Game turned on a 50/50 call the right call but Leeds would have gone on to beat Wire had the try being given

Bradford may well beat Catalan cant see Leeds getting beat at Hudds could be a trip to France yet or nowhere if we dont perform V Salford first
